Pretty cool. I like it. Cool song.
Interesting track, very nice.
LMAO!!! "500 thousand tons, not counting Santa himself!" Awesome statistics to such festive music. And the kids always ask,"what good is is to know algebra, I'll never use it," now they can get a sample of how cool it is to use if they apply some imagination. Great track!
Enjoyed this last year - still think its very clever and original. Merry Christmas FC. James
Great bit of Fun Here , and Christmas is all about Fun !! Right ??
Well Done All Involved :)
All the Best for 2013
And Don't Kill Santa ;) Crimbo wouldn't Be the Same ...
Knew I shouldve studied harder at school...then again...everything I need to know is here!!! Brightened up my day guys...what a whizz! ho ho ho ..keithmas
Wow these are incredible Christmas calculations! It's hard to be original about the festive season but not it would appear for Forbidden Colours. Although I prefer not think about the potentially incinerated reindeer. Cheered me up no end. Love Wednesday x
Brilliant, total enjoyment
Wow. This is wild. Sorry I missed this 1st x around. Very creative stuff indeed. Love the idea of using Santa in this way. Cool stuff. Thumbs
Hehehe...great fun guys, your humour is second to none!
Much detail and informit all on the yultide festobole. Greatly impressit with the mathematatics in the Euclid geometrian. Highly festive in the humbugly,. Deep joy. All four thumbs. Z&G.
It's good to know that Santa is alive and well and living in my computer!
Amazing track guys, I can't believe the boffins out there that can do this mathematical magic, they are real brainiacs!
Well all I can add is that Santas outfit makes far more sense in Europe than in the antipodes, where we can reach days of 40 degrees plus!
What are you actually saying here... does this mean that Father Christmas... that Santa Cla... No!
Very entertaining guys with all those facts put to music. Had us smiling and listening carefully. Well done and a Merry Christmas to you. Easily rated..
Well, this is it... I have commented on all 45 of your tracks, of which every one of them was wonderful, it was such a pleasure to listen and comment them all. I have to say THANK YOU for making all this music! I will not forget the great time spent listening to these amazing tunes. I am a huge fan for all time!! Christmas Maths has the best of holiday sounds that I've heard to date, and the narrative is beyond a total crack up, it's sheer comic genius. Funniest thing I have ever heard! Merry Christmas Mark and Andy! You guys rock way too hard!!! Come on by and listen to the rest of my songs sometime, would love to hear what you think of the rest of my work. Until next time... DJ Frankie Holmes
Great comedy Christmas tune! For all those kids who never figured it out for themselves by glimpsing 'hidden' presents, overhearing some bitter spoilsport at school, or copping the fact not everyone has a chimney, this ought to set them straight for once and for all! R8d!
A very different kind of christmas song - clever and original - interesting facts too - nice instrumentation - easy vote
Liked this a lot. Good vocals and backing. Funniest thing I've heard for ages.
This is great, I can't stop laughing. What a great idea.Very clever .Who came up with the maths ? Wish I could vote more than once. Good luck with it guys.........I'm still laughing by the way.Paul.
Forbidden Colours are a Swansea (South Wales, UK) based band who discovered synthesisers in 1979 and, after years of study have finally found the little button that turns them on. We are Mark Newton and Andy Jonah, a control freak and fat boy respectively. We have been influenced by many people, including our bank manager, the electricity board and a hypnotist named the amazing Mesmo.
We would describe our music as having been written by us, musically, using some instruments in a style which is usually the complete opposite of what we started out to write, but which, nonetheless is surprisingly good. We hope one day to pioneer the practice of playing air-synths. We are possibly the only Welshmen in existence who can't sing (we were thrown out of the choir for shoving), but we're not that worried because the music is the thing. When not writing music we generally tend to stare off into space listening to whatever tunes our inner DJ's spin in our heads. Contrary to everything written here, we do take our music seriously. Biographies, on the other hand...
Mark Newton: Vocals (well he calls them vocals), Vocoder, Lead guitar, Synthesisers, Samplers, Percussion
Andy Jonah: Backing vocals, Vocoder, Bass guitar, Synthesisers, Samplers, Percussion (tea and welsh cakes)
We are currently looking for a Swansea based vocalist, male, female, transgender or even hermaphrodite. (We don't care just so long as you can carry a tune in a bucket.)
