A Beautiful Winter
Paul, where are you fella miss your work on this site.Ive heard this track so many times you would not believe. The melodys thru the piece are cool.Cool sounds within a gem.The samples 2.04 remind me of my late father, gone but not forgotten. Class arrangement mate.
I remember this classic!!! Always loved that vocal sample Paul!! You certainely produce delicate, yet powerful synths!!! Dont know how you hold yourself back from over doing them!!!!!!!! Power is nothing without control though and you do it so well bud!!!!!! Percussion is super-dooper mate!! Took me back to some great memories!! Great piece mate and real nice to hear your around these parts again my good friend!!!!!!!!!
when I first noticed you had uploaded a new one... I though...he's changed the title LOL then as soon as it started it was classic Destri :) love the bass on this one and the trade mark chimes :) beautiful melody through out :) always been one of my favs...you do the down tempo stuff better than most :) quality m8...can't wait to hear the new one ;) peace,Ricky
Always my favourite Destri track, still find it beautiful, gets better with age. The melody that starts around 2.20 mins is utterly superb, and always brought back fond memories of China Crisis and those classic synth led bands. Also taps into that seasonal thing. I'd put this up there with any track :)

From the intial intro you get a nice vibe from this track the bassish like syth is almost instantly memorable, then when the actaul bass drops in on top of it - perfect. the strings/pads then open it some more, really drawing you in. then some really clever well done vocding relaxs you and brings the music to life. then - bang, temp stays the same but the hats double up top add a nice pu
i loved this track alot, the vocals had a slight david bowie feel to them which sounded really good,i also thought that the production work is great
Now there isn't anything to original about this track. However, kaisers chiefs are good and they are just an xtc cover band. So, originality isn't the dogs doodas. Actually putting some thought into a track is the dogs thingys. This is just what i hear in this track. Too many dance ambient tracks sound good without trying. Dance music on the whole is easy. So, give this a listen for some actual th
this is just a great track. the opening speach is ok to me, but what follows is simply to die for. the bass arper really grabs your attention, but just as your thinking you need to hear something else, in comes a lush synth that makes you wanna touch someone hot. then the beat drops. its been awhile sense ive heard a beat fit so perfectly in a track. so far im real impressed.
