Hi Deon. It's great to hear you doing some more solo work alongside your collaborating with Deggsy. Your vocals are exceptionally 'radio friendly' and your performance on this is fantastic as well as emotiional. I am really feeling this. Great work and here's a PJ vote for you. Your vocals are ace! PJ
Laid back all American sound. I'm travelling on a box car heading towards Deadwood for a meeting with Annie Oakley. Yippee aye yay!!
Love Wednesday x
Another great tune, really love this.
A wonderful goosebump, tear maker here. Such excellence... *sigh* =Bravo=
Love the harmonica Deon! Oh ya this is one sweet track... Love your stylings my friend.
Straight out of a Western. Harmonica sounds great. Lovely warm sound to the whole track. Thanks for your comment on Angel of Insanity
Oh how I hear the spurs on my boots jangling as I tap them to this under the skies of a wide open prairie night...fireside ...guitar... and strumming along with you...got that soulful vibe...harmonica evokes that...vibe feels up close and personal...but the message is about connecting...depending on which road one is ;)
Hey Deon - nice to hear a "solo" effort from you - love the simplicity - the lead vocal and harmonies are so effective and the harmonica is a nice touch adding the right amount of variation to the instrumentation. Lovely song. Thumbs. James
Wonderful !!!! C;)
I listened three times before commenting beautiful song and spot on harmonies. The harmonica sounds so good. Dl thank you. Gibbo.
Outstanding harmonies as always in your work...no need for autotune here lol. Very laid back and quite philosophical ,lyrically. Nice.
Awesome, awesome, awesome song. The vocals and harmonizing - excellent! The line and delivery at 1:07 - "As I reap, so I will so" - NICE! The guitar and harmonica sound so good. Damn you kick ass!
I can listen to your sweet voice all day long.
Always at treat to my ears to hear a Deon Song , the Harmonies are as sweet as always .. Great Stuff .Your Talent Shows with this piece of Magic : BIG Thumbz ;)
Lovely sound to the vox dude - ya got a new mic? Got a crispness factor that sounds good. Good bass response too - maybe ya hitting a few lower notes - that might be it. Good harmonies too. Got a live feel as well. S&G feel to it - especially the harmonies. Thumzup dude.
Thanks to Mark Ellis here on MP3Unsigned, he is kindly featuring 2 tracks of mine on his fabulous show "Roots and Branches" the tracks will be 'I'll Be Yours' and 'Heartache' Many thanks to Mark for
this is one very fine tune , i love everything about it , just a great song .
This is a really well written song. It's obvious that a lot of thought went into this lyric (unlike so many these days). I loved the line, "If you can banish each cool drop of rain. Put permanent end to misfortune and pain".
It's a new year so I'm going to start with a new artist, at least to me. This is also my own pick btw, and I''ll be explaining that further shortly and you can stop groaning anytime you like. Deon is, apparently, a songwriter from Birmingham UK as opposed the Birmingham AL (Alabama, USA as it 'appens). I was lurking around MP3 Unsigned's New MP3s forum trying (unsuccessfully) to
