Darius Rashaud Is a singer, songwriter, and producer, from Chicago, IL now living in Los Angeles, CA to be closer to the music scene and to focus on his craft with the intention of making it his career. Darius attended Columbia College in Chicago where he studied music production, business, personal management, and marketing in music, and often performed at local clubs, and coffeehouses in the Chicago area. He also attended Musicians Institute where he studied how to improve what he was given at an early age, the gift of music, proper vocal technique, theory, as well as performance presence. His style of music can range anywhere from rock to jazz, but he focuses on hip hop, smooth r&b, soul, funk and every thing he listened to as a child up until now, which can be felt in his music. Darius Is currently working on his third independent album. His first EP entitled Dance 2 Night (On I Tunes as Darius Rashaud ) did well for an artist no one ever heard of. It received airplay on a few major radio stations in the Midwest as well as numerous internet radio shows and college radio. Also the title track was featured on a once nationally syndicated television show called stepping at club seven. His second EP entitled Its Going Down is also doing very well in Europe and has digital download and worldwide distribution thanks to an exclusive one album agreement with an Independent Germany based label www.inphusionmusic.de and www.our-distribution.de . Never the less, Darius is still seeking representation as an artist, songwriter and producer in the United States.
