Hi DSS - one from the archives i see - has that 70s sound that you do so well . Nice melancholy feel to the whole track which is highlighted by the harmonica and vocal performance. Lyrics convey something that i'm sure everybody has gone through at some time in their life - feeling sorry for yourself, wallowing in self pity , etc. Thought it was great - anymore gems hiding away? Yeah, dreamy stuff, musically, but so sad a thought explored here. "I hadn't a clue..." toughest part of love gone is the surprise is you really "hadn't a clue..."...then the need to connect with someone who feels the same..ahhh...get out the tissues...the backing track just adds to the sniffs ;( You two have a way of poking around sad themes...touches some sensitive places...ah..a cello in there Baz? I can't imagine these lyrics being about either one of you two - you're too lovable!! HAHAHA! But, it is a nice "feel sorry for yourself" type of tune, I'll give you that much! Very nice recording and sound on this. Cool lyrics for those of us who are easier targets due to our loud, aggressive, caveman ways. But you two - I don't believe it for one second! LMAO!!!
