GUITAR MAN
Hi DSS - didnt visit your page last week so i'm going to listen to two from your back catalogue this week. Mastered on tape? Must be quite old. Early DSS.. Its a pleasant song with a solid lead vocal and some nice lead guitar work. Harmonies are particularly good. I get a sixties feel to the track. Enjoyed. Thumbs. James
This is a fun tune. I can't help but to think that I resemble the guitar man and the perspective of the lyrics is similar to what those who live with me might be thinking! LMAO!!!
This is something quite different from you. I'm really digging your 60's surfer style on this one. EZ Rate Eric Bad Love Junkie
Thank you for listening to my band The Ku-Jo Conspiracy, pleased you were fond of one of our tracks. I listened to some of your tunes, "Guitar Man" i liked a lot. Sounds very 60's, which is always a good thing. Sounds like it could be on a film. All the best guys, Happy New Year. .
hey andy's on the nail again.. Marrakesh! This is brilliant...lovin it..harmonies are smooth as... great stuff.
Like it. I also heard the CSN and Y vibe and the marrakesh express vibe BUT it's not a copy so be proud of that. Enjoyed loads, well done and rated. The vox is great and the mix is def 60s - just sounds like it's coming off me dad's ole radio.
Yep I straight away got a Creeque Alley mama and papas thing going on (dont mean that in a negative way as I love that song) Certainly not what I was expecting, it's like hearing a famous 'lost' track, really is a cracking song, love it :)
Interesting story in these lyrics, don't know when I've heard "bad boys" sing so sweetly! Nice arrangement, I too, heard "Marrakesh Express" vibes right off, but then there's this Mamas and the Papas thing goin' on as well. Enjoyed it very much, thanks for posting!
Has a 'Marrakesh express' feel to it. No bad thing. Good words as ever and a good arrangement. Very assured and professional
Awesome vocals and productions. 5/5
A few years ago? Just shows a good song never dates. SUPERB vox/harmonies. Is Brian Wilson there? Excellent piece of work lads.
Doesn't need any of the drums etc. I agree with Mick. Could be good acoustic.
You guys just keeping me taking a trip back and forward in my musical journey. Wonderful song!...Dan
Well of course not weel!!
Right back into my love for music! The 60s!! Great vocals and it has similarities to bands too many to mention. All in all a great listen and all buttons pressed.Weel done Baz n Laura and of course Martin. Take care Andy :)
Agree with Mick about the CSNY similarities! Has an early Beatle-esque flavor too! Vocals are very well done and the song has a serious good time vibe throughout! Shame about the little glitch in recording but that is easily overlooked as the song really brings you back to the '60's! Enjoyed this!
This is a great track....from the outset i was hearing some crosby Stills n Nash sounds...which is fine by me. For me, a nice acoustic sound thru this would have been fantstic, but, im biased..lol. This is just brilliant....on a 2nd listen...and its growing more n more. Im pushing buttons here u guys...hope this does well. Mick

Ok...this is more of a comment than a review. Sweet Song! I had a lousy day today, was fooling around trying to relax, and this song did the trick. Everything fit so nicely when I closed my eyes it mellowed me right out. Thanks! &nbs
