Born in Hammersmith to a family of seven 2nd youngest, she always knew that she was born to sing .At the age of 14 she joined an all girls group and performed at a number of events including the Newham Healthcare Chairman’s Award at West Ham town hall which received local press coverage. An article from the Newham Recorder included the following quote about them ’ They may be Newham’s answer to All Saints ,but they have there own style and charm and stress that they do not want to be tagged copy cats of the famous four but they hope that they may one day be as successful as them ‘[Neil Mcclead Newham Recorder 1998] At the age of 17 she moved on to collaborate with a well-known RnB/Gospel producer by the name of Delirious Who at the time produced tracks for the Master Drum & Bass album and worked along side Dj Hype, Shy FX, DJ Lewie and also had the opportunity to remix tracks for artists such as ‘A tribe Called Quest’ They began working on tracks such as ‘The Question’ and ’I Know What You Want’ which received mass airplay on the underground circuit . The tracks proved to be a favorite on stations such as Phatt FM, Extreme FM, Climax FM She has performed at various venues including the Alexandra palace alongside Big Brovaz and Gemma Fox,, Sound, Urban Music Festival to name a few. After building her foundation Donna St Louis is now ready to be released with her promo EP of smooth R&B, upfront joints, and hip hop jazz Which you can hear on all the local radio stations.
