How did I miss this? Never even noticed it either..till was just looking down the chart... Interesting vocal FX or style... Don't think I heard Carol like this... Great backing by the Alive boys :) Don't know why but the vocal reminds me of hurdy gurdy man LOL probably just me but it does lol....Peace,Ricky
Great song, lovely vocals. Really cool. (Thanx for the comments btw.)
(:Aye~ thank you all so much! Again, thanks going out to Alive for this collaboration.:) [mariod- what inspired me was
Great sound, great songwriting. I take it that you can just about write to anything. I love your voice. Keep em coming. What inspired your words for this song?
This is just way too cool! I'm one of those anti reverb people so don't get too upset if I tell you that I would like to hear less on the vox. This is a smooth roller with just enough contrast it brings it all together as "one". -"One" real nice song! Great collab Lady & Gents -Mike
Impressed with the quality of the production from step one!! Everything is crystal at me end, including the percs, bass, leads and vocals!! Very impressed and enjoying the lead guitar break!! I am a little reminded of Kate Bushes earlier vocals from this, which is great in my book!! A superb collab BTW!! It certainely gets my thumbs!! Take care guys!! Baz
Great collaboration, Alive are really rocking on this. Beautiful vocals and some very strong lyrics. Nicely done.
You're welcome, Erik~ thanks for listening~ and thanks for sharing your music, too!
I had no idea this was on here - what a collaboration! Mixing a great band with a great vocalist/lyricist is like mixing Guinness and Harp's Ale - it goes down smooth! Not bad for my first tune of the day - I'll be wasted by noon at this rate! LMAO!! Cool tune and thanks for the download!
Kent & Gibbo~ gracias!
Beautiful voice...the song is good too Carol. I like the bass work, simple but good
This is a great song and an excellent collaboration, love it,Gibbo
Dan, thank you very much! I enjoyed working with James on this tune, he's a pretty easy going soul! :) I also look forward to our song soon, I've been a fan of yours- it seems like forever!!
yeah Carol Sue..this is quite a different sound for you..Alive's signature sound is perfect for this alternative sound. Dig the way you are putting yourself out there girl...
Thanks so much for spinning the tune, and sharing your thoughts~ and Rich, you're welcome,lol... if you're happy- me so happy, too! :)
Thank you my lovely Carol Sue for the download. Me so happy!!!
Hi Caroly, I love "Don't Go Away (Featuring Alive)... Such a beautiful voice and the music arrangement is really complimentary of her beautiful voice. Kudos!!!
Nice grungy guitar working in tandem with the acoustic. Vocal has character in the best indie traditions. Great collaboration.
didn't know this was here but now i do. how cool to have two wonderful elements roll into one. song is amazing dear ones, amazing!
I thank you all very much, and again~ thank you for working with me in music, James. I'll try to be back around soon, to spend some time to listen to some of your music,too- have a good day, all.
Hi Carol! This is another wonderful track, full of character, light and shade. Absolutely wonderful singing, linked with chiming guitar, and a perfect beat. On this one you remind me (a little bit) of an Aussie singer called Christine Amphlett (from the band The Divinyls) a great track, and a great recording, top lyrics and song construction! Cheers, Andrew
Another wonderful collaboration! Love the backing track...an excellent track with all the goodies for a vocalist to put some ideas into. A little different from you Carol, and it is nice slice of "different" liked the "stutter" approach to the vocals in "Hey, Hey, Hey..." repetition ..goes well with the track..Grant's lead I presume.. bass hovering nicely along the bottom....great mystical vibe keep the listener moving along with you ! Thumbs to the Production and Mixing desk of Alive.
Great working with you on this Carol. James
Great backing track and edgy vocals. Grungetastic. Love Wednesday x
Thank you all very much, and another thanks going out to Alive for this collaboration... and allowing me to to use whatever voice I wanted to experiment with, lol.

Emotionally charged here, with the simplicity of guitar and vocals a song that truly strikes a cord within myself. What beauty exists in the simple things in life. In listening it is as though I feel what the singer is feeling, as though she is in the room with me. Absolutely stunning performance, applause...encore!
Carol Sue has been my only link to authentic country and western based music since joining this site and as such i need to apologise for the lack of references i have to offer in my review! Carol's 'Too Tired' was not new to me when i came to listen to it. I had heard it before and remembered it straight away! This catchy country tune is a homage to the love between a man and his motor cycle, an
My review of Carol Sue Kirkpatrick - I Am Invisible (with Mantrasolo) First off sorry for the delay, life has been busy over the past few weeks Anyways lets talk about carol & better still lets talk about the track J I got to admit I have a soft spot for carol, so I have got quite familiar with her style and sound But I think this is the first time I have actually heard car
Carol Sue Kirkpatrick - I Am Invisible (with Mantrasolo) Right from the start this track has an immediate presence – Just like the Lady who has penned this track. Carol was one of the first people I became very aware of when I first started looking around this site properly. Not only has Carol commented on my tracks regularly and with feeling, she regularly comments on all the artis
Going Through The Motions By Carol Sue Kirkpartick and Hans Mulders (Drainage). Is soul music actually good for the soul? Why did I ask myself that? I'm guessing all music affects our soul in one way or another, if we do actually have one, that is (I'm a sceptic myself, but there you go). If a song can make a person realise something by merely affirming a feeling that we have about ourselves or
Yet another MP3 Unsigned collaboration - they are at it like rabbits over there I tell ya! This time with Carol Sue Kirkpatrick and my old mate AndyF, who I have known for many years. I met Carol Sue just recently and if you are reading this on Soundclick then you will already know she's set up camp there too. You didn't know??! Well her page is here so why don't you go ove
Note to self: I must not get confused between Kirkpatrick (which is a fine old Scots/Irish name) and Fitzpatrick which is Norman, and as we Brits know they were not nice. Not nice at all, especially if you happened to be a king and were fond of your eyes. Now, if that little lot hasn't served to sow an inordinate amount of confusion in your mind, I am not the mind f*** I once was.
Well I sure know the invisibility effect, but I have a sneaking feeling that isn't what this MP3 Unsigned artist is singing about. A new name to my reviews from that site, I have been noticing how this lady has been recieved over there, and some of the comments made about her music but this is the first time I have had opportunity to do the same Carol is basically a songwriter, r
