Stand So Strong (featuring sherry garrett & dean jutze)
HI Carol: Very glad you like my new song "Patricia." Finally got a better mix. "Stand So Strong" has a nice easy feel with great vocals...I'd even turn them up a touch in the mix...I've been using the Paragraphic Equalizer built into the Sound Forge program (Sony) to remix my mp3's which brings out the highs much better. Nice tune. Best, Ken
Just watched your video. Of course she's going to be a survivor if she can handle a gun like that. (Fine grouping by the way).
Wow, what an amazing track. So smooth, beautiful production and a tremendous song. Vocals are superb! Perfect job.

Hi Carol. First of all congrats on being artist of the week! Moving onto this track it's a lovely laid back song and Sherry's vocals on this are sensational. The chorus sure is a hummer! Your melody and songwriting are both amazing on this. Love the strong and memorable line "She's a survivor" This is a very strong song filled with emotion and the production is superb. Fantastic work. You should be very proud of this. Here's a PJ vote for you. PJ
Wow, I just noticed~ Mp3unsigned- thank you for the honor of allowing me to be the artist of the week! :)
Thank you all so much for your kind words! I just finished doing an estate sale, so I should have some free time to listen to some of your music soon~ right after mowing the yard & getting some groceries, lol. Have a great day! :)
Hi Songbird!! Halfway through the intro I was expecting Barry White as it has that 70s motown feel to it, your too young to remember...:) This has all the CSK hallmarks and so nice you hear you again. Love the picture btw. Gets my vote too. Take Care Andy x
Very nice song Carol...brings me back to the 70's...love it. :)
A really strong hook and great vocals as usual. Makes me think of the soundtrack to a film, something of an eighties feel to it. I will be singing along to this for sometime. Love Wednesday x
Really nice track! Like the feel of this. Very moody. Nice vocals too. Thumbs up!
Very nice track, great lyrics, has real emotional depth and very well sung, recorded and written. Very strong arrangement. I love the production, very crisp, clean. I also like the title of the tracks, it shows a great amount of thought coupled with the lyrics. This is what real talent is all about. I hope you continue to make great music so that one day we could hear it on the radio. Check me out and tell me what you think. Andrell
Nice easy-listening vibe...rhythm guitar chugging...bass syncopated...percussion gentle..piano chords...all elements that make a nice groove...then the vocals...sweet harmonies...Dean adds nice parts...good team work...nice spiritual theme to this one. Thanks for that little reminder ;) Thumbs!

Superb lyrical hooks, and expressed beautifully...lovely harmony :) Excellent production, and a very savvy composition, I really like what you've done with the variety of intrumentation on this, great orchestration, Carol Sue! Well done!
The Harmony makes this for me, as always a lovely song and touching lyrics, excellent Carol, Gibbo
A talented family obviously - must be nice to collaborate musically with a sibling. As usual a great song and a great vocal performance - the harmonies and backing vocals were really well realised in my opinion - has a cool retro sound to the instrumentation.Enjoyed. Thumbs. James

Emotionally charged here, with the simplicity of guitar and vocals a song that truly strikes a cord within myself. What beauty exists in the simple things in life. In listening it is as though I feel what the singer is feeling, as though she is in the room with me. Absolutely stunning performance, applause...encore!
Carol Sue has been my only link to authentic country and western based music since joining this site and as such i need to apologise for the lack of references i have to offer in my review! Carol's 'Too Tired' was not new to me when i came to listen to it. I had heard it before and remembered it straight away! This catchy country tune is a homage to the love between a man and his motor cycle, an
My review of Carol Sue Kirkpatrick - I Am Invisible (with Mantrasolo) First off sorry for the delay, life has been busy over the past few weeks Anyways lets talk about carol & better still lets talk about the track J I got to admit I have a soft spot for carol, so I have got quite familiar with her style and sound But I think this is the first time I have actually heard car
Carol Sue Kirkpatrick - I Am Invisible (with Mantrasolo) Right from the start this track has an immediate presence – Just like the Lady who has penned this track. Carol was one of the first people I became very aware of when I first started looking around this site properly. Not only has Carol commented on my tracks regularly and with feeling, she regularly comments on all the artis
Going Through The Motions By Carol Sue Kirkpartick and Hans Mulders (Drainage). Is soul music actually good for the soul? Why did I ask myself that? I'm guessing all music affects our soul in one way or another, if we do actually have one, that is (I'm a sceptic myself, but there you go). If a song can make a person realise something by merely affirming a feeling that we have about ourselves or
Yet another MP3 Unsigned collaboration - they are at it like rabbits over there I tell ya! This time with Carol Sue Kirkpatrick and my old mate AndyF, who I have known for many years. I met Carol Sue just recently and if you are reading this on Soundclick then you will already know she's set up camp there too. You didn't know??! Well her page is here so why don't you go ove
Note to self: I must not get confused between Kirkpatrick (which is a fine old Scots/Irish name) and Fitzpatrick which is Norman, and as we Brits know they were not nice. Not nice at all, especially if you happened to be a king and were fond of your eyes. Now, if that little lot hasn't served to sow an inordinate amount of confusion in your mind, I am not the mind f*** I once was.
Well I sure know the invisibility effect, but I have a sneaking feeling that isn't what this MP3 Unsigned artist is singing about. A new name to my reviews from that site, I have been noticing how this lady has been recieved over there, and some of the comments made about her music but this is the first time I have had opportunity to do the same Carol is basically a songwriter, r
