wow. this is really nice. just heard Andy's added orch take. both versions are great. I think the added orch works well with it coming in on the verse after the chorus. vocals are really good and so are the words. there is a touch of sting.

From the get-go this track feels real professional. The guitar reminds me of Goo Goo Dolls, without sounding like a ripoff. I really dig the guy's voice, it's very pretty - especially when he hits the real high notes. If I was a sappy, emotional loser, I might cuddle my girlfriend to this one. Seriously, real pretty song. Nice country sound. Nice vocals and real cool acoustic work going on in this track. Only thing i can say maybe a bit of variation on the main theme in the second part to give it a bit of a climax. Overall cool track, rated!!

Would I be correct in saying I hear a little tinge of Country music here? Saying that, the more contemporary sound shines through more, maybe it's the chord progression or something... Still, never mind about genres, this is purely a really chilled piece of music that's been put together with ease and confidence. Great music, vocals, lyrics and arrangement - oh, yeah production is top banana too... Kind of puts me in mind of Richard Hawley a little bit - nicely sung melodies, a perfect voice for it.
