This is great too, going with Mr O on a louder and more central vocal, no big deal though, fun sound, real message in the lyric too. Rated
Catchy tune dudes, might be a tad better with vocal a little louder and with less width in the stereo field. The music sounds >>compressed<< centrally compared to the vocal. Enjoyed the ride though. Thumzup.
Bison is a nine-piece, horns-front, hoof-stomping beast, the hardest working band in Sheffield, and masters of the ancient and noble art of party-starting. Since their inception in 2004, Bison’s legendary live shows have earned them a dedicated following all over the UK and beyond.
Bison’s sound has been described as ‘ska with a je ne sais quoi’, an updating of the soul and reggae-influenced pop bands of the post-punk era, with a measure of the adroit lyrical realism that has become a hallmark of Sheffield bands like Pulp and the Arctic Monkeys.
With a new album – Pressing the Flesh – bursting with pop hooks and inventive arrangements, and a growing reputation as a storming, flamboyant festival favourite, it’s only a matter of time it seems before Bison take over the airwaves, the music business and, quite possibly, the world. All hail!
