Never Leave The Bathing Hut
This is very cool! I really like this track and i'm sure alot of my friends will too. Take one wholey deserved reccomendation#:)
this is different and I like it a LOT...take me further into your world -I'm willing:-)
I particularly like the vocals on this one. I can see what you're saying concerning your vocal style and I applaud it. Too many pitch-perfect vocal tracks around, in my opinion. The music sounds good too, although I'd change the feel to it when you sing the "dragging me/dragging me into the sea" part, cos it doesn't fit the mood in that section. Cool track.
Aah the voice and music of Ffabbia - You just gotta hate it. Naah, only kidding. You've certainly developed your style since the "good" old days and in a positive way too - I simply can't fault you and anything you do. I've downloaded this and listened a few times now - what a grower of a song! If you don't get an offer to produce some work professionally soon, I'd be surprised. The only thing I think you need to work on is your attitude - it stinks! Only kidding again. Sorry. I can't seem to take myself seriously these days, maybe it's the madness setting in. Keep up the good works my friend, maybe one day soon we'll work together again, yeah? 8.5 to 9 out of 10 is what I'll award this one, as I'm in a good mood. I'd give you a good, solid punch if I wasn't. ;-) Cheers.
This cool song - seems very well produced! Got a chilled and laid back feel and the vocals work well. Respect and gets a rate. Jaymz Ps - love it when the vocals get a bit mad! Cracking
Finally get to listen! Thanks for changing the player! Okay - think I understand.. London 7-7 is The Delivery System is Ffabbia ? Your talent spreads far my friend! In listening to your tune (which I am very impressed) reminds me or gave me the feel of a movie theme...something like the 4400. Gosh...glad I took a listen! Love your style! Dang Good! :-) Carol Sue
cool track like the detuned guitar vocals worked for me on this track :) loved the b'line and liked how it ended very good :) thumbs up
....and headphones work!
Love the chorus on this....it really juxtapositions the smooth verses.
Very cool - liking this, chilled and groovy.
the beggining reminded me of early prodigy synths. Then the singing etc. reminded me of something i have never heard before, with a hint of de peche mode. I like your tracks a lot, and have a feeling we would have some really good anti-bush/irrationality of religion conversations
Congrats on making artist of the week! Well done!
revisited,already!!!!
this is unbelievably incredibly and non real singin. your soul is in this track, this beauty. never heard anything like this....and believe me i've heard a lot... no more words....thank you for your music!!!!! Serge Blake.
This track simply reinforces why you were the outstanding choice to do "You left today" - I guess you either like your singing "pure" or delivered with real emotion. I much prefer the latter and all the great singers (in my book) fit this category. Think Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen, Neil Young, Lou Reid - none of them "pure" singers but I'd walk over broken glass to hear them live and I wouldn't stroll through the park to hear Celine Dion or her ilk. Great track m8 and keep it up. Top marks! Graham
Absolute top track, for me one of your best.
Wow dark and lovely!
Creepy and (dangerously!) catchy song. Smooth arrangement going together with impressive story-telling, evoking lively pictures...
Excellent melody and very good vovals ! very enjoyable song.
moody is right...good work!
Can I compare it to anything that I know? The answer is no and that is GREAT. Original and very catchy with great production. Filled my room with a great sound....
Track is different but catchy. Check out my new cut called "Another Day" under the R&B roster.
Strong melody, lovely song with a creepy undertone. I like it, good vocals, good synths, lots of feeling. Great.
Thanks! :) Pro Tools. I wish rofl!!! Nope, believe it or not it's done purely within Fruity Loops, Soundforge and Cool Edit Pro 2, using a nifty combination of tools and filters. The guitar sounds real 'cos it is! In fact the only 'sequenced' things in the track are the drums and 'pizzicato' strings, all else is recorded freehand.
Outstanding production. guitar sounds sounded real. Vox were very well and a 'floyd' touch at parts, similar to the wall. I think this song could almost fit that album actually, similar in theme. Love the atmospehric appeal and steady bass line. outstanding production again tho. sounds like it was in a pro studio, pro tools?
Thanks everyone for the comments. Now if I had access to a 'cute, girlie' vocalist I would certainly use her on many tracks Fudgepacker m8 :D However I think that such an action would detract somewhat from the essential point behind 'Never Leave The Bathing Hut'. It's a deeply personal song (emphasis on 'personal'). The fact that my own vocals made you uneasy is a good thing in my book, That was the whole idea in fact! My songs are not comfortable listening, neither are they purely abstract. I do kind of get where you are coming from about the 'twist' that would be delivered by a 'cute' vocalist though; I get a lot of critisism over my vocals, you either love or hate it lol! But as long as I'm the singer, I guess that they will generally remain that way. Yours : Ffabbia
Musically I cannot fault it - the vocals make me feel uneasy! When I need some plastering done I get a plasterer in cos I can't sing! How about a female vocalist that sounds cute and girlie, would be a nice twist.
I loved this the 1st time round .. Powerful imagery strewn muse which just keeps draggig me deeper into its drowning pool. Superb
Ditto the other posts, I think this is your best track to date and your vocal style is really starting to grow on us. Reminds me of the brillinat 80's with top bands like Human League, Depache Mode who we're not afraid to be different.
lyrics are great, as Stephen pointed out. The dragging me part is sweet. This is my favorite one from you that I've heard. The more I listen the more the sound and your voice gets stuck in my head... and, of course, I don't mind at all :) That laugh... was so cool :) Downloading! LanK
After listening for a few weeks to other tracks by TDS, a really recognizable voice stands out. Great lyrics!! Though your artist page states you border on the poetic, I think you must have crossed into the poetic in the far distant past. From the message board to your songs, I think you bleed creativity.
Really well produced and powerful TDS music!
Production is spot on all round, the vocals are as clear as day,and i love the bass guitar great track.
Fascinating track, like the instrumentation, intriguing crazy lyrics & offkey vocals- I think this would definitely repay multiple listens, good music!

It's Thursday, it's raining and it's 11:25 am(GMT). The new Delivery System album (entitled DRUNK PUNK GOB KILL) is coming on nicely, and I'm just starting to get back on target with the mastering of the final tracks. There's one more to create, and the ideas are there! I'm just awaiting a response from another artist on this site, with whom I wish to collaborate on the final track. In the meantime I need to think about various 'filler' pieces that will sit between tracks, and (perhaps most important of all) the track order. This is proving to be a nightmare!!!!! Do I start with a fast 'crowd pleaser' like 'Ipso facto' or begin with something sultry and smouldering (Like 'Nebulae')? aaaGHHH decisions decisions. On an unrelated note, I've also embarked upon a seperate project with MP3U artist Stephen Todd. Still getting things in order on that front, but expect some news of this...and hopefully something concrete at the end of it in due course.
So Tedd-Z suggested that I do a review of this track, so here goes! When I saw that it was over nine minutes long, I admit to having let out a groan almost as long as the song. Generally speaking, 5 minutes is my limit for songs but I listened to it all through five times. After those listens however, I still feel that this track is way too long and that seriously detracts from it's com
I try real hard to stick to the list system because I believe it is the fairest way to do this whole reviewing malarky. Unfortunately, it does mean that a lot of my own personal favourite artists never get a look in, usually because they know that I am crazed with review requests and they feel others need the exposure more. Welp, I disagree, and whenever one of my own favourites releas
From the channel switching opening to the cut up wavelength searching beats you know that a bout of Delivery System magic is about to descend from that pallette of abstractly left field viewpoints. The only thing you can rely upon when you open up a TDS song is that it will not be predictable or safe. The smooth electronica beat that takes you through the opening is just there to lull you into a tot
This is a weird one to review; I don’t know how to word it or even start I made comments on this track before I offered to review it, was this a mistake Let’s find out. What stands out for me and the best part of this track is the bass, unsure if its vst or a bass player, but there are major doubts to that it sounds as real a bass player that I have ever heard. so for me the performance
In 1981 Roger Sperry received a half share in that year’s Nobel Prize in physiology or medicine: "for his discoveries concerning the functional specialization of the cerebral hemispheres" “For what!” I hear you say. In short Roger Sperry and his team had discovered that we don’t actually have one brain, we have two. Not only that but they did quite different things. Now
Already the subject of one review this month, August is shaping up to be Delivery System month. Not that I mind overly much because TDS has long been a particular favourite of mine ever since I first met Ffabbia (aka TDS) on a site far away and long ago. I still have a great many of his tracks from that time but I have to say over the past two years or so, this artist has improve
Some wisecracking genius accused me recently of 'making music that comes from pluto' - but whether it was the dog Pluto or the planet Pluto was never made clear. I wish it to be known that I do not make music from Pluto or anywhere else, but The Delivery System will might - and it wouldn't be a planet in this solar system though, or probably not even in this galaxy. Ffabbia (aka T
This is one of my favourite Serenity tracks … so what has become of it once it’s been through the Ffabbia Filter ? I love the reggae feel that Ffabbia’s given to the track, but there’s loads of other stuff going on as well. I particularly like the strings and the guitar during the verses, the bass playing is inventive and well played. The FX works well too and the percussion i
For those of you who don't know me I'm half of Serenity here at Mp3unsigned.com an aspiring singer/song writer. I'm not a producer and don't intend to take the song apart but give my views as a listener.
A review of - ARK-artist-The Delivery System I'm reviewing the wondefully bizarre artist known as The Delivery System, and one of my personal favorite tracks by The Delivery System as well. I am not a professional reviewer by any means, and one could easily find a more intelligent read among the reviews. I shall give my assessment of the track none-the-less. First off, I'll explain b
‘Let There Be Salt’ – a few wordies from Spyda First reaction – “Oh my God!” I couldn’t believe my ears! A jazz based vocal track from yet another ‘old acquaintance’. Can this possibly be produced by the same person regarded previously by some as “outrageously wild”, “manic”, “occasionally neurotic”, “bordering on paranoid”, “really way out there” & “so very talented” – ye
Imagine my suprise when I saw Gary in a tux as he crooned into the mic to the almost transparently grey slow moving dancers looked blankly at the surroundings that did nothing... His words bled in tear stained colours but the dancers were blind to everything but their own disintigrated feelings
The artist Ffabbia states that his music is "quirky as hell"; and it is. As well as "dark and moody". Yeah, it's that too. The tune in question, "Never Leave the Bathing Hut", has an 80's feel to it. The drum machine groove is kept afloat by the bass played in real time that has a nice, funky feel that intertwines the music beautifully. Ffabbia's lyrics are sung with a HIGHLY affected deliver
