This is what you get when you cross a good backing track with me when I'm drunk! Recorded about 4 years ago it's pretty sloppy but there are some nice ideas that I would like to get back to. Will definitely rerecord the lead parts again without the booze;-)

Excellent riff at the start. The solo is tremendous. Production on this one is better than on previous tracks I've listened to. How can you say some parts are cringeworthy? If that is the case, I'd love to be a cringeworthy guitar player. Top notch.

Cringeworthy solo? You judge yourself much too hard. Ok I can detect a few rough patches, but this is a demo after all. I like the melodic parts to this tune, and the lead work is still fabntastic in its imperfect form. I l;ook forward to hearing the proper vesrion. In the meantime have a rate.

I've been playing guitar for about 15 years now. I'm 'self-taught', I play by ear and know pretty much nothing about music theory. What little I do know I got from piano lessons I took as a kid, mostly Bach and Mozart. I think I've developed my own style by avoiding theory, trusting my ears and playing by 'feel'.

I've only recently started doing collaborations with other MP3unsigned artists, I'm always up for experimenting with other musicians so feel free to send me a PM through the mp3unsigned forum or an email to get something started.

All music written and performed by Dave Kelly aka 'Superhuman' (drums, bass, rhythm guitar, lead guitar etc). All music is protected under Creative Commons Copyright

It used to be that world class shredders (Ed: fast guitarists) were a rare event but these days I'm always tripping over them.
