Part time composer. I like a variety of musical styles.
Child you slew
Pruneau.. I don't think you should re-record the vocals.. i think to try and rap to this, would ruin the subject matter... the calmness and almost eerieness of the vocals contrasted with the subject matter... really reiterates the story... I feel anyway... it's really different and as others have said very brave... it's things that need to be said.,. and I'm sure others who have been through a similar experience will really appreciate this one!! Straight to the point... a good outlet... I really like it!! I have no Nom's left now.. but I will definately be back to Nominate this one! Very striking and powerful! Jen x x
Why re-sing/say it?
rated & nominated!!!

This is superb. The vocals go perfect with the rest of the song. Great Production. Top Stuff!!

Love the beat. You can rap better than I can. Cool accent. You have talent in every genre.10/10
You did really excellent on that vocal, I understand you will redo it? I find the expression in the vocal strongest in the first half. Such admirable bravery!! You set a remarkable example here! Respect! Nice production:o)
Hey , this has a good flow , you have a good voice too in my ears . Keep it up .Indeed you have your own style , en je doet het gewoon , maestro!!
It's really heartwarming to read these comments, thanks a lot folks!!
What a very powerful track. Music is such an amazing outlet for our emotions and experiences.

The best music is always from the heart and this is truely from the heart. No-one with a pulse could deny this is potent stuff. All respect to you for getting this done - it's a great track

I love it man, who would of knew there was a rapper locked up inside you. Great job pushing your limits beyond the normal you. 10 from me for the expression of it alone. I love the accent also.
I dont really know much about rap,but this has a good beat and I like your accent.Sounds cool.
Yes, this is lyrically very powerful and personal track and you have my respect in putting this up. I feel that there should be more anger in this. I'd like to contribute more but I think you'll get it where you want to. Again, respect for this.
What can I say, Pruneau ? It was extremely brave of you to put this online. It takes so much courage to come to terms with things, let alone tell others about it, particularly in such clear language. I hope this helps you in some way to find closure of sorts.
Rejoice! After a long break, mainly due to excessive workload in the so called real life, I have found a bit of time to finish a number of songs I had been working on for a long time, but never managed to really finish.
Sicne I experienced a stab of productivity recently, I looked into buying some additional mp3 slots. Then I reconsidered and went for VIP status. After all, if I can get people to call me 'your majesty', why wouldn't I?Don't be worried though, I will still be my modest, creative, brilliant self, and if you call me Monseigneur that's ok though, there is no protocol in outer space, after all.Check out the initial version of 'Christmas Is Near' and tell me what is wrong with it, and I will be forever in your debt.
It has been some time that I had trouble with my old ROland Keyboard's A4 key. I had been looking at a replacement, especially once of those new nifty master keyboards with lots of controllers. Then my eye fell on the KORG Microkontrol. It had looks, with the aluminium sides, that go so well with my other gear. It has 16 percussion pads, which is great. It is very compact, which is an added plus. The keyboard keys are kiddie size, but I am not a real keyboard player, so I can live with that.Sadly enough this will force me to spend a lot of time studying this new equipment again, only just after getting to grips more or less with the goodies I received 2 months ago. I'm becoming more of a technician than a musician, I feel. Still , being able to fiddle with sliders when mixing a piece will be worth the effort, I can feel that already.
It's been my birthday, and my friends and relatives have been most generous, that's why I have gotten a new external sound card from Edirol, the UA-25, with built-in Mic pre-amp.I also got me a brand new pair of headphones, AKG K271, with a particularly flat frequency curve, I am very happy with them, they practically allow me to make my mix completely with headphones, they are easy to translate. I only use my speakers for final verification now.
