Mark (Belgium - April 2, 1968) formed his band in October 2001. He had written 6 compositions based on his 4 year stay in South America and was eager to record those feelings on tape. The resulting album 'Impresiones', released in the US on August 10, 2004, is a work full of emotion. It travels from jazz to world, from folk to classical, from ambient to soundtrack. 'Impresiones' has been rewarded with major media attention which resulted in numerous radio broadcastings worldwide. In the famous GarageBand.com charts his song 'Patagonia' reached #21 while 'A Bokher Un A Meydl' charted #5 in the World section. Mark has been a winner of the 7th Annual Great American Song Contest with his song 'A Bokher Un A Meydl'. He'll be awarded with the 'Outstanding Achievement In Songwriting' award in April 2006. He's been a finalist of the 2004 Unisong International Song Contest with 'La Danza De Los Emigrantes' and of the 2004 International Acoustic Music Awards with his song 'A Bokher Un A Meydl'. Both songs are featured on his critically acclaimed album 'Impresiones'. He's currently composing music based on his recent travels through Southeast Asia.
