Heading for danger
Thanks a lot Ricky for the comment and support :-)
The first part was deffo film score could easy hear it on a big budget movie, the second section was more game style for me. Could feel the danger :) really cool stuff dude. Peace,Ricky
Thanks again Bob. :-)
This piece of music is very well composed, lots going on and some great sounds that kept me hooked to the very end.
Very much enjoyed!
Cheers Tony, appreciate it :-)
this great i can imagine .it watching a movie ,,,,sounds great spot on .......tonyc
Thank you Terry :-) I think i put everything but the kitchen sink in this Lol.
embrace the experiments ;) Always something worthwhile in the creative process, and this one has some interesting movements in it....love big booming timpani strikes, sustained electronica creating tension, industrial sounds that pierce the soundscape, dark and brooding. Good on you for finding ways to move through the process...liked that change of time signatures and fast-bowed strings...Happy Easter to you, Darren!
Thanks Michele, you are one of the best artists on here for these experimental, evolving soundtracks. i also like that kind of thing.
A lot of suspense...very atmospheric track. Holds the listener's interest till the end of track. I enjoyed so much. Thank you very much for comment on my track Zenith
Cheers Keith :-) I'm not sure about the end section now, could have done it better I think. But the first 3/4 isn't too bad. Would like to hear it on a decent sound system myself..haven't got one lol, something to invest in soon.
I can 'hear' stuff in this...for the first minute or so....but it stands up on its own like a lighthouse in a hurricane. There's a huge sound-scape...I can easily imagine it shaking the punters to their core, in a cinema with a decent system...or even surround sound on a DVD would be gob-smacking. k
Thanks Ray, kind words, appreciate your support. Actually I didn't use Eastwest QL in this, I've only used it a few times. I use others in the main..they do make good libraries though :-)
Great sinister soundscape, Darren. You utilise that East West QL Library so well and your compositions are always imaginative. As with most of your tracks, this would work so well as a soundtrack to a movie. Great work; well done.
Hi David, thanks kindly :-)
You got that atmosphere you were goin' for :) Interesting tune, the rock's good, the soundtrack's even edgier. Well done!
Thanks Ron :-) It was a kind of dark, threatening atmosphere i was going for, maybe some of it works lol..yeah i loved the music in blade runner!
Super job darren. Could hear this on a Blade Runner style cop film.
Hi, thanks to all visiting my page.
I love to write/record my own music and songs. I like a wide range of musical styles and try not to limit myself to one style. If i get an idea in my head i have to try and get it down somehow, even if i make a pigs ear of it! :-)
A vast majority are instrumental or soundtrack type songs, but i do like to write non-instrumental 'normal' songs too, rock, pop, etc
I'd be interested in collaborations if anyone is interested!
Thanks for listening. Darren.
