ADA & FLO - featuring KALLEN
Thanks Bob, much appreciated;-)
Good lyrics Darren and a catchy pop tune that I very much enjoyed.
A wonderful collaboration.
Thanks steve/ Jeff. That's a weird coincidence :-) i knew people like this too, think everyone has.
i had a great aunt Flo my nans sister who bought me a jimi Hendrix album when i was a kid and my nans friend was Ada she used to go to the Darby and Joan club with i like this song its like you knew them thanks for the memories
Thanks for that kind comment Tomas, you are one of those talented musicians/ composers too on this site. I'm glad you liked the song too :-)
There is an excellent group of musicians/songwriters/composers here in mp3 unsigned and you are one of them, the best pop music made on the planet now...Great!
Thanks Terry :-) I've been lucky to do collaborations with some great people on here. I've had fun doing all of them..and look forward to hopefully more. :-)
Brit pop-tastic...sure is fun to take a tune from Darren and run with it...story-telling coming along well, Darren. Well-adorned and developed by Keith. Bouncy Bass, guitars add a lot of flourish and fullness to Darren's ideas.Fine collab guys! Always interesting to hear what's next? ;)
Thanks Kevin..you're right, does remind me of that now. funnily enough, I also love some of the kinks and blurs songs. :-)
I'm getting more of a Blur feel from this and The Kinks too, great influences to pull from. Beatles Kinks or Blur, it has a unique sound of its own. Great job guys, thumbs up. Gibbo
Cheers Keith, you added a lot! Yeah Abbey road, one of my favorite albums..i knew you'd make a good Mean mr. mustard :-) I love the guitar riffs you made up in this. Thanks again.
A pleasure to add a little, Darren! When you mentioned "Abbey Road"...early on...it did put me in that "Lennon" frame of mind ...always wanted to be a mean Mr Mustard anyway:-) Great lyrics to work with mate and easy to 'embellish' on a great song in the first instance. k
Thanks Eric for the kind comment. :-)
Catchy as all get out! Reminds me of John Lennon in place. I like that :) Some very nice guitar work and backing vocals. Great job
Thanks Ricky :-) And thanks again Dave, glad you liked it :-)
I've been humming this for the last two days, ha ha! Gets my nom for "Earworm of the Week" :) Enjoying a few more listens, excellent work gents
Nice upbeat vibes :) cool vocal and that bass just pops so nicely :) Had my head nodding :) Really good collab :) Peace,Ricky
Thanks Ray, appreciate it...Blackpool isn't as good as Bondi beach i'd wager ? :-) the saucy postcards are good though!
No mistaking the Beatles touch and also Keith's magic touch in this little fun number. Lyrics are great, especially if you're English. Aaah, Blackpool …. all those bloody deck-chairs and saucy postcards.
Thanks David. It started off as a heavy rock/ punk type song, but changed it, luckily as it worked better and had a bit of that Beatles vibe when i wrote it. :-)
Great song! Getting a real Beatles vibe from the lyrics, arrangement and quality performances. These old ladies put a smile on my face, thanks gents!
Hi, thanks to all visiting my page.
I love to write/record my own music and songs. I like a wide range of musical styles and try not to limit myself to one style. If i get an idea in my head i have to try and get it down somehow, even if i make a pigs ear of it! :-)
A vast majority are instrumental or soundtrack type songs, but i do like to write non-instrumental 'normal' songs too, rock, pop, etc
I'd be interested in collaborations if anyone is interested!
Thanks for listening. Darren.
