I. Venice (sinking in...) (BBC Intro 21.01.17.)
i like the beat with the drums and synth it's kind of hypnotic and with the vocal effect makes this very enjoyable listen i rate this song different sound well played top marks
ha-ha...home grown? Excellent singing throughout the somewhat macabre sounds in here... from strings of Vivaldi to the bizarre electronica...don't know how Venice came to mind, but you developed this theme so well...and found room to chuck in a bass guitar with that synth...now that is some skill. No NI Driver (I looked that up to see what DDJ was referring to)..but I did use my modest introductory software Komplete11 Select (Massive, Kontakt, and Reactor)..lots of experimental fun in this software :)
....er...it was probably just a bad batch Ray :-)
Jeez, this one's weird, guys but still has a certain charm. Production is first class and the whole thing is very imaginative. Which one of you dropped acid to write it? LOL. great work, guys and a very interesting track.
This is different from your usual. But i love it, It's a bit psychedelic, something like the beatles when they did their experimental stuff. I love the bass and drums, the melody and chorus very catchy. Great Lyrics and vocals Keith.
The pulsating rhythm immediately attracts attention. The song is very beautiful varies in different instrumentation throughout. You have excellent collaborations)
Not a guitar to be heard, hmmm....I like it anyway, these are some great lines and you guys are dressing 'em up nicely. Solid foundation of bass and drums, interesting synths and superb vocals; that hook "sinking like I'm in Venice" is a winner! Very cool, easy rate gents.
This is very different :) Always thought Kallen was the better vocalist and found it weird his vocals were not used as often. Even with all these FX :) Couldn't get in to last weeks track, That lazy beat, lazy is probably the wrong word (Out of sync with everything) would be better. Didn't wanna spit on it with it been aired on the beeb. Only thing that could have been in sync with that would be a tin of spoons falling down some stairs :p I like this its got a good beat (in sync) is the fx on the beat Driver by NI? Terry can answer that. Peace,Ricky
Intro pulls you in like a heart beat, then a multitude of little bits of magic join together to make something special. Liked the change around two minuets, well worth a few listens to soak in this masterpiece....

The Kallen "Group" came to be in November of 2012 with their very first song "TRIbal Voices"
"TRIbal Voices" set the mold for many, many more collaborations. No easy task when separated by thousands of miles (and the chilly Atlantic Sea) The "3 Amigos" as they quickly came to be known, became very firm friends, sharing much of the same outlook on life, as well as sharing the occasional Graveyard shift and Digitalised tin of beans, (and Moosehead beer) ...they also shared their individual musical talents to produce a very strong and unique sound.
Terry-tronic...concocting the wacky compound of glue that sticks everything together.
Gibbo's-on-it...always the ultimate melodic voice of good reason
...and K-mad-pants-mic, that would-be-a-theatrical, cloth-capped-guy :-)
They quickly came to the notice of DJ Bob Fischer of BBC Radio Tees...and the Group would like to thank him for all the publicity, radio plays and interviews that they have enjoyed!
Where do they go from here? Fame fortune? Stadium tours? TV appearances? Any offers??? Someone??? Anyone??? :-)
Firstly let me state that this review is purely my opinion, which is subjective. I do not set out to ridicule or demean anyone, but intend to give a fair unbiased view. This will hopefully give the artist some food for thought for future recordings.
So on to the Track
How do you go about reviewing 3 very talented musicians that have come together to collab on tracks as a separate project to
