G'Bye
"some chemicals will never remove"....BAM! You have a way with words, sir. Nicely arranged and produced, I really like those backing vocals on this, but all very well done. Rated!
I love it Kallen! This is a wonderful dedication to my Heather, and yours. I hope there is a happy ending for your Heather. Thank you so much. Listening to this song really did pick me up and for that I thank you oh so much. As usual you do not let me down with your awesome songwriting. Keep the faith my friend!
Wow... this is AMAZING. I can see why you are a featured artist on MP3U now. Hearing this is just wonderful, you are an especially talented musician and it's a real treat to hear your music! You have a timeless sound and this is musical perfection for sure. Great song Kallen you are awesome!!!
Fabulous!!!!!!! what else can I say, big thumbs from me C:)
This is one of those perfect songs, that you can listen to forever! Melody, lyrics, vocals ... everything is so well balanced! / Peo
Lyrically hit home....hard !!!Beautiful soft tones musically fit well like a pair of old shoes ..!!! Vox carry song like a pro !!! Well done Mr Kallen !! Your string of great songs reflects passion and accomplishments...
What better way to manage Life's garbage bag of of stuff we seem to struggle leaving at the curb than to write a song about it all? Catharsis my friend! This is a wondrous expression of that process...letting go....vocals are super (with the odd flinch and waver to let us know it was a struggle to get this one out), strumming thick and rich, bass holding the bottom, minimal percussion just to nudge you forward through some tough lyrics...wondrous... Thumbs!
Hope you have lots more late nights, terrific song. Guitar sound great, love the backing vocal also. Nice one Keith.......David
This is what I live for my friend, Just great music, from the heart
Hi Keith, a great song with a great classic vibe, I love the words, and your vocals are sounding wonderful, love the backup harmonies on here! Later on tonight in Melbourne there's going to be a carnival/event called "White Night" with video projections on buildings and 85+ acts around the city, I hope there's not going to be too many drunken fools, but I'm not holding my breath! Cheers, Andrew
Yes Keith, its worth it when the night and you produce a song like this. Beautiful melody disguising a heart full of pain, awesome song. Big Thumb DL, Thank you. Gibbo
Blood running cold resulted in a very cool song. A true songwriter will always take life's everything and turn it into something wonderful. This is an excellent example.
Cool song Keith! Really nice chord changes and vocal melody on this. Nice lyrics too. Dig the harmonies too on the 2nd section of the verse. Always enjoy your songs. Thumbs
Many thanks . Mike and DSS...just checking that you're paying attention Laura!...I mustve had a old 'time warp' moment....itl be march soon , wont it? LOL keith
Outstanding Keith! The late night songs are always the best. I think it's because the brain is too tired to argue with itself and thus the mind settles itself into a musical groove. How's that for an over-analyzed thought? Good clean songwriting and one crafty sounding tune! -Mike
A luverly late night offering Keith.. Guitars are sounding sweet in this 70´s sounding song but not half as much as your vocals! You must have had a premonition with those lyrics as I notice they haven´t been written yet...LOL (21.3.13) I know ya just wishing Spring was here but it made me smile...Good song..
They say that fiction...is the truth, inside the lie
Here is my take on some musicized fiction...
Well... Ive been plonking away on me old guitar it seems, for the last ten thousand years...just to amuse meself more than anything else...written/recorded many hundreds of tunes in various states of quality...from recordings made on shiny magnetic tape stuff, powered by magic elastic band thingys...yup...I have the technology of a wind up clockwork toy!
Mostly acoustic..wandering into rock (but I aint got the voice for it!) I try not to hold any punches back, I musicize what I see or feel. My music is pretty simple, I dont think too long or hard about it...it either comes or it doesn't. Its the only place I can be honest...and ..erm..maybe get away with it! My mission: Complete an album called: "Songs The 70's Missed" Lol
I entertain me little self doing it...I would be delighted to know if anyone else feels entertained too...it makes it all worthwhile!
A Wise Saying: Those who live by the sword...get shot by those..who dont.
My Saying: If we leave no mark...then we never lived...For whatever its worth...Here is my mark
