Yeah, this is right up my street!! I like this!! Vocals and harmonies are brilliant but so are the lyrics!! Guitars are mighty fine too, may I add!! You painted a complete and perfect picture for me mate!! Getting old and stuff together but in a pop ballet style, love it!!! Thumbs way up!!
I feel like a sleep :) Nice tune and relaxing! Nice vocals as well!!
Definitely another charmer from Kallen! Your guitar work stands out for me as a special feature in this mix. I really like the variations in texture between the tracks. Your playing is really good, Keith. The sound is very satisfying in its rich fullness. What a pleasure to hear your music!
Oh well, nearly time for sleep but i just thought i'd have another listen to this lovely song, night!
Another treat for everyone. Nice acoustics, this track is so easy to listen to sign of a great track. Much enjoyed............David
Good, solid and impressive writing here mate - nice one. This is quality material. Well performed and nicely recorded too. Could easily have graced an album by.......Lindisfarne or even (and this is going back a bit) McGuiness Flint (which featured the Sutherland Brothers) or Steeler's Wheel. In case of doubt - that's a compliment. That was/is a too neglected genre of distinctively British folk/rock that yielded some terrific songs. And this is right there with 'em.
Hi Keith, Sorry I got here so late, I had trouble logging in to mp3u!
Anyhow, this is a lovely song, nice flow, nice lyrics, lovely balance in your super vocals, the layering/overdubs is masterfully done, I love your guitar tone and style, cool bass-lines work a treat, thanks for this one Keith, it's great!
That is a really nice song there Keith. Crystal clear production and the multi guitar layers in opposite sides leave good room for the vocals. Great song all round.
Yep, Like this. Thumbs up from me.
Another great song from you Keith! Love the vocals and harmonies on this - great stuff ! ;) C :)
How little is this lady? lol..
Keith, you make it all sound so simple. Now that's a sign of brilliance.
ahh...forgot you like the fade then the surprise bam! type of ending :)
you continue to delight with playful acoustic arrangements that tickle the ears L and R ...was that 30 degrees of separation not 6? :)....then a big bass :D Vocals are powerful...poised and present...harmonies fill it out so well...lots of lightness and energy in here! Enjoyed!...Thumbs!
Jangly guitars, spot on harmony and a song that instantly sticks in your head. Yep, it must be me old mate Mr Allen. Such a great love song, taking a DL for my collection, thanks. Big Thumbs up. Gibbo
Like this one i do. very simple, sincere and straightforward. Always a recipe for a great song and you've got one here....
Mmmm, those acoustics sound really good paired up like that, and that bass strolling alongside 'em. Touching lyric, some great phrases, hooks in there and love the way you deliver... This one's a winner, thumbs up!
They say that fiction...is the truth, inside the lie
Here is my take on some musicized fiction...
Well... Ive been plonking away on me old guitar it seems, for the last ten thousand years...just to amuse meself more than anything else...written/recorded many hundreds of tunes in various states of quality...from recordings made on shiny magnetic tape stuff, powered by magic elastic band thingys...yup...I have the technology of a wind up clockwork toy!
Mostly acoustic..wandering into rock (but I aint got the voice for it!) I try not to hold any punches back, I musicize what I see or feel. My music is pretty simple, I dont think too long or hard about it...it either comes or it doesn't. Its the only place I can be honest...and ..erm..maybe get away with it! My mission: Complete an album called: "Songs The 70's Missed" Lol
I entertain me little self doing it...I would be delighted to know if anyone else feels entertained too...it makes it all worthwhile!
