Hi, I go by the name of Triksta I’m 16 and live in London. I came to this name because people I associated with referred to me as a “tricky” character. I spell it that way because I think it looks better and will appeal to people more. I got into music from the young age 5 when I used to listen to all genres of music but rap was always my preference. I grew up listening to the likes of Kanye West, Jay-z, Eminem and 50 Cent. It was only when I started Secondary school that I got inspired to be a music Artist. I started listening to Grime and UK rap and I was inspired by seeing teenagers only a few years older than me making tracks and getting played on Channel U (Now known as Channel AKA). Soon after I stopped music and decided to play sports instead but after 4 more years of listening to Artist such as Chipmunk and Tinchy Stryder rise up and become well known I decided It’s my time. So I started writing lyrics and going to the studio with my close friend Nigel and eventually made a couple of YouTube videos for Young Talent Media. Currently I am now working with Mosk Management and am looking to raise my game and improve my music. I am hungry for success and that’s what keeps me motivated.
