Trippy tune...!!! Doors meets Thomas Dolby ...Soothing vocal lines n tones ...
Maybe a dash of Chris Isaac....Busy bass lines n drums with retro guitar gives delightful edge..!!!
Hi Ronnie! Happy New Year to you and Heather! The guitar work on this is excellent! Has a certain vocal vibe that is all yours...I do like the synth parts you are using...but the guitar work and your vocals are the draw for me. You are really delivering some great music...I think the drums in this are also something new...new VSTi's? Got a lot more oomph to this track..mix is solid too.
All the best!
Has to be said, top tune Ronnie, love the trippy lead guitar and the haunting synth sounds, bass is excellent to my ears, vocal is superb. Great song, rated. Gibbo
Ronnie, good for you brother! You are also becoming an unique and easily recognizeable force in sound -at least for my ears. That 's what any musician should be shootin' for in my book. Good work and good song! -Mike
Cool song Ronnie glad it took a twist that you like and shared it, cuz it has a real psychedelic feel to it and just takes you to the scene you paint with your lyrics.. top stuff.
Hey, that synth bass sounded pretty good in this mix! Composition has a sixities, seventies psychedelic air to me, especially when you throw down that scorchin' bit of lead, yeah! Clever lyrics, would have been nice to see 'em posted, but I could make out most, particularly that last line :) Thumbs up!
I like your artist comment about how you imagine the song one way, and then it does what it wants and you end up somewhere else - I know the feeling very well! The music on this track is cool - it reminds me of some of the more obscure, very cool songs from the 80's. Keys on this song are very interesting to listen to. I'm listening for a third time, and I keep getting drawn into listening to the music. I'll listen to the words later, I am pretty sure I will get past those keys one of these times! LMAO!!
Enjoyed this one a lot - nice and laid back with an almost 'mysterious' air about it. Like your vox too.
Happy New Year to you Ronnie!!
a nice song i really liked the guitar solo sounded like a clean strat over all a cool vibe to this song that takes you there well done Ronnie mate
