Cuddly Cocaine
Cuddly Cocaine! LOL Damn dudes... I like it! It's OK right until you run out of said cocaine... :P I'd pay a cover to stop in and see you guys, next time I'm in the UK maybe! (I've never actually been there... alas, I am a poor working class american).. :(
Had this on repeat this morning very insightful well done guys
Nice job guys! This song has a gritty feel from the lyrics but the music is a nice contrast with the nice acoustic part, etc. Good job! Thumbs
Cuddly Cocaine :S hehehehehe....Don't think I heard it called that before... Seen enough weekend rock stars practicing their lines tho ;) Good work guys..Nice bit of electric guitar towards the end ...Peace,Ricky
Smart track - like the build and arrangement - the dynamics give it good drive . The only problem with Charlie is it costs too much ! ( Are you aloud to say that sort of thing here ??!)
For or against? Depends on which side of the''line'' (ahem) that you stand on,I s'pose :) Cuddly = Euphoria? Liking the acoustic with the vocals on intro . Catchy chorus...luv the vocal drops. Clean production too...nice one guys.
Lovely track, full of a yearning, drugs are usually about heaps of things, deep down emotions....etc Nice production, and loose quality I admire, great guitar, and drums, vocals are good too! Cheers, Andrew
A song full of contrasts, I'd say it was straddling the fence as far as being either for, or against. Love those drums, and that jangly rhythm guitar, nice solo too! Kudos to the bass player binding it all together and a tip of the hat to the vocalist and lyricist. i like this mellow room!
I want to believe it is against cocaine, thats how i'm hearing it,a great song of desperation. In the same vein(no pun intended)as the Stones: Sister Morphine. Gibbo
that comment was ment for Cuddly Cocaine... my bad
I hope you are not telling this through personal experience, but if you are, who am I to preach? I do enjoy the way you are all slowly lulled into such a cool, steadily building jam session on this piece though. While listening to this I realize that the fact that I have never tried injecting anything is because of songs like this. If I were asked whether I thought this song glorified drugs I'd have to say that it is more of a warning. ALl these thoughts going through my head while enjoying your fine music - what more can anyone ask for? Fine music and deep thoughts work for me!
The opening guitar strumming says it is going to be good...like the vocal, reverb tails...fading off...strong vocals...second guitar enters the room...bass is solid ....nice upfront loose drums...my kind of percussion...fine job mastering this...now "cuddly"? Love the music!! Thumbs...stay mellow, but not overly so ;)
Is It? I dont know, I haven't tried it. Been tempted though. Never heard of Cocaine being described as "Cuddly" before - like it - a nice different idea/angle. The best bits for me are the vocals and lyrics. the solid pound of those drums (nice one Jenny) and that ending with the long guitar solo leading to the fade out. I love it when songs do that. Thumbs. James.
Wow, what a song! If performed in a live venue, I would imagine the bic lighters working some over time in the audience, lol. As if a love song... we all have our passions, don't we. I admire your sound, no doubt~ as well as your strength to just tell it like it is within your music. =Bravo=
