Thank you very much forbidden colours, I appreciate the kind review! Cheers, Andrew
Oh yeah! An amazing fusion of brilliant, tongue in cheek elements making up a hugely entertaining piece of electronic wizardry. Sheer, bouncy and wonderful fun. Best of luck with this. Kudos.
Hi DJ Frankie, thanks again, I wonder if I get a buzz from an approaching weekend (feeling) I seem to do my best (or my fav) recordings on a Thursday! Cheers, Andrew
Andrew... seriously, this song is SO GOOD I can hardly contain my excitement!!! This may be my new favorite from you! Airplane 77! is amazing too and is on the same level as this. Only a highly experienced musician could have pulled off a masterpiece like this! Now THIS SONG I WANT TO SEE GO TO # 1 on the MP3U Charts!! So many layers of sounds all in perfect harmony with each other, no conflict or any kind of clashing of sound at all, everything here is just so perfect... and your vocals are the icing on the cake, not many people could have properly added vocals to this instrumental track properly. This is one of the spring time's greatest hits in 2013, the most exciting year in music ever!!! Cheers! - DJ Frankie
Hi Keith, Its pretty crazy, this heat, really out there heat, one thing I find helps is plenty of cold beer, I really like the Dutch beers, like Hollandia and the German beers like Oettinger, which is cheap and very nice, $2.00 for a 500 ml can! Cheers, Andrew
Cor!..cant begin to imagine heat like that!.Certainly, this track is "hot"....fanfastic music...love the bonkers vocal...is that chirpy the chipmonk I hear?. LOL Brilliant! keith
Hi Folks, Thank you,The Khymry, Gibbo, Laura and Baz, Wait for Stars, and DJC, thats very kind, now I'm sitting here, a little bit less dehydrated, but I could add that too many tininess might seem like a good idea to escape the heat but now its mid-day and all I can say is...."Ohhhh my head!" Cheers, Andrew
i like weird and this is a bit out there and another gong style track with the synthesizers doing all sorts of things which is a plus in my book
Completely nuts, as you said but i love it. This one made me smile, though there is no escaping the quality and complexity of the instrumentation. Lots of work gone into Melt-down and in all that heat too! Good job Andrew, Rated. Gibbo
Don“t know how you do it in that heat Andrew when we just give in to the meltdown when it happens here! Love that crazy meltdown voice- feels so right with these crazy lyrics. Not surprised and deserves a few more tinnies.. Cheers
Wow! Wild track! Unique and creative stuff here! Thumbs
Insane, but has me grinning ear to ear...I'm melting! Lovely start to the day, lol....:) Thumbs up!
G'Day Terry, I'm still here, after a few (too many) beers, thank you for all your kind words, and I was going to do some mire music tonight, but I think I'll just, cruise on out, and a few more brewskis! Cheers, Andrew
You are the Zen of zaniness...the master of madness....the crowned-king of cr-a-a--z--z-y...man! But this is is so appealing...not sure what your inspiration is..possibly the crazy heat down under...great stuff...waxing eloquent on anything...all things cosmic..that chant-rap-sing style is the definitive you! Love it!! Thumbs!
I am a visual artist who has been dabbling into music for a while now, and I started recording in about 1988, or therabouts, when I purchased a Tascam Porta-One four track cassette deck, which is still going strong!
I tend to just let ideas happen as they come, and try to get the ideas down as they come, and I see this methodology as being similiar, in some ways to methods of Surrealist visual art, but I don't try to force anthing, it really is (for me) about the flow of ideas, and (hopefully) this can resonate with the listener, and become an emotional experience?
Lately I have been very impressed with the quality of recording possible with computer DAWS and my second hand laptop computer, is now my workstation "go to" of choice, I just love the ease of use and amazing sound quality now available!
One day I'll get back to analog techniques to see if I'm missing anything sound-wise, but for now, I am a convert to digital, and why not!
Cheers,
Andrew
