It Don’t Mean Anything
You are one cool songwriter Eric. Great feeling in this song. Great vox man.
that acoustic guitar sounds well good .. that voice man filled with emotion from your heart.. nice lyrics bro sweet performance
I want to say it's another fine performance, but it's not. Every track I have heard you do is a real slice in time for me. The raw emotion in my right ear with the guitar in my left creates a fvcked up disconnected feeling. Prety much what the lyrics dezcribes. Really good track :)
fantastic song my type of song your voice is ace .great lyrics,, you can here the emotion in your voice, nice guitar as well .......top marks ........tonyc
Some lovely acoustic guitar and what I like to say a 'real-believable' performance on this Eric. That's what its all about...getting your audience to 'believe' you...to make contact. The very best musicians always have this power...as you do in bucketfuls! Notice just how many folks grab a DL as quick as they can!! Proof of the pudding...is in the sampling :-) k
A great, emotional performance. Minimalistic but you carry the song with just the guitar and your great vocals. ;-)
A the memory that invites itself into my heart listening to this. Guilt, pain and a need to forget something I cannot. You're the best at evoking memories and emotions. Good or bad, they are who we are....
Dang, I remember this feeling...you've nailed it.
Love it :) Not sure I heard many when you sung in a high register :) Got to admit, I also love this line and I'm sure it would count for most "You get the house, I get the dog" Really good performance and great lyric :) Peace,Ricky
Cool song, Eric and performed so well. Great vocal and the plaintive accompaniment works perfectly here.
raw, passionate, pensive and brooding, and masterful vocal control....you're right about picking up others' feelings and having them stick...fuel for the minstrel though, this getting into other people's lives and narratives...hurt abounds ...perspective and distance allows a life to be lived...good to observe...powerful ballad E.
I love it Buddy, your so emotional what a great truth here, I love it for the 2nd listen and think I'll take it for another ride, Hell yeah!
Artist Bio?To me a bio is for someone who is no longer creating. Who really cares what I’ve done or not done in the past? The story of my life is in my music. Drugs? Alcohol abuse? Suicide? Been there, done that. Come back stories are a ...ing bore. I don’t have a long sad tale to tell. I will never be anyone’s hero. I’m not famous (obviously) and I don’t care. I prefer the darkness to the spotlight. I am not starving for attention. You want to know who I am: just listen to my music. It’s all there. The ups, the downs and all the in-between bull .... I don’t write to impress. The name BAD LOVE JUNKIE is self-explanatory. I embrace my dark side. From country, folk, to pop, I love everything and anything that is good. And I do it all. My motif depends on what’s happening in my life at the moment. Life will change from day to day. Hell from minute to minute. I won’t be the same person tomorrow that I am today. And neither will you. A hero? Never had one, but the closest thing to it would be the late great Townes Van Zandt. No: I don’t lay awake at night dreaming of writing songs as dark and depressing as his. I don’t do Townes I do ME! I release a new album not when the timing is right but when it’s time. I’m always working on the next song, or the last, last song. I’m forever trying to shake some bad habit, buying my time until a new one comes along. I change. But the one thing that will never change is I will always write from the heart. And if you’re still here reading this. Maybe these songs will touch you. My life is always an open book. And the story of my life is in my musicPeaceEricAka BAD LOVE JUNKIE
