Love the presence and live feeling here! Great collab! - / Peo
Lovin' the Funkiness ! Cool collab guys :) Thanks for the comment over @ my page. Always appreciated. Peace,Ricky
Love the performances on this one...super...only thing better would would be to hear you guys LIVE! (what are the chances? :)
Well worth re-uploading Mike, enjoyed this last year and its great to hear it again. Well done you and Rich. Gibbo
This is ... hot! Loved the collaboration you did with Rich on his page and this is fantastic as well. Your guitar and Rich's voice go so well together, like Page and Plant or Perry and Tyler. Production on this is perfect too. Really great stuff. Rated, Craig.
Wow! Michael and Rich, This is awesome, what a funky groove, which for me the second it starts I immediately had memories of listening to The Grateful Dead (Skull and Roses) live album in the 80's, which is a very, very cool thing indeed! This is just STELLAR playing, writing , singing, everything, a total blast! Cheers, Andrew
I would be in stitches but out west we call it a hootenanny. Thanks for the three second listen and takin' the time to comment! -Mike
Michael, i cant listen to the song because my internets ...ing up. (Theres a storm brewing in old England town) From what i heard it sounds good. (3 secs) Did you hear the one about the ol' Arizonian cowboy who always picked the wrong hoedown? He was a ...ing rude ..., ignorant to a fault
Definitely a great blues/rock song, like Wait for Stars said. The bluesy sound gives it a nice chill feel, emphasizing the "laziness" :) Great guitar work! Thumbs!
Cool blues/rock song! Some cool changes on this one. Nice guitar work as usual. Really creative vocals that work well with the song! Nice work! Dig that little bass riff too! Thumbs
What a great listen... two powerful, and talented artists in collaboration! Hope to hear more from this duo! =Bravo= My aplogy for missing this earlier~ it's been a whirlwind around here lately... keep rockin' it guys!!
Definitely a feelgood chillout vibe for me. Fun vocals and theme, great guitars. The full package. Love Wednesday x
I dont know how I missed this great tune, but keep up the good work and maybe some day a collab between you & me. and btw I dont use a mic for my amp,I dont have an amp. I use a POD 2.0
I love the groovy word.
a very groovy track and a enjoyable listen
Rich, I do like this mix the best! Great work all the way around on taking this song to that place I could have never without you! -Mike
My bad on the hot mix. In an attempt to bring up the mix a few dbs without clipping, the limiter maybe squashed things together a tad. I normally do my mixes at moderate levels for dynamic space integrity. I'll do another mix with a less aggressive approach and keep the current level.
Thank you all for your input! James, thank you for taking the time to listen and offer some constructive criticism straight up the way you are hearing it. That gives me food for thought and is indeed what makes me a better musician and I truly, from my heart, apprecciate it! Thanks again -Mike
That was quick work - like the vocal feel Rich has layered over the instrumental. The track seemed a bit cluttered - too much guitar now there is a vocal in place. Would be tempted to do chord work (again i love those funky stabs you do on this Mike) while Rich is doing the bulk of his vocal then bring in the riffs in the breaks. Couldn't make out all the lyrics on first listen but followed them the second time so i could get the gist of the song. Really liked the simplicity and the directness of them. Still think the ending is poor - sorry Mike - l really think a fade out with a solo going on would work a treat. Great collab - sorry i cant vote again. James
Really good song, your unmistakable guitar sound and first rate production, enjoyed Rich's vocal, he's a star. Great work Mike. Gibbo
This is great dudes - totally transformed by rich's vocal and post-production (i'm guessing on this one). I'd be tempted to increase rich's vocal level by a couple of dB if you guys are still twiddling the knobs on this one. More voting if i could.
NICE!!! I like how this turned out! Rich singing along just as crazed as the strumming on this tune, and that bass following along just as cool - damn! This is classic! I've listened to it 3 times and it it is still kicking my ass! Now it sounds as fresh this 4th time as it did the first time. Great work guys!
If Rich doesn't the queue starts here ;) Always a joy to hear the riffs and edgy/gritty guitar work...liked the layers working for you here...funkaliscious dude! I'll add an Erik LAMO too! Wonderfully creative piece! Glad you are keeping your chops up! Liked the tat-tat-tat-ta-tat strumming ! Thumbs!
Like when you doodle that guitar, Mike~ (you're a great doodler, lol) and looking forward to hearing what Rich adds to this tune. Hope to get back with the music soon to finish our collab too. Keep rockin'!! =Kudos=
Sounds great coming across my pc speakers! Perhaps you've already made the adjustments mentioned in earlier commments? Does end a bit too abruptly, and too soon, I'm really enjoying this groove :) Hope Rich's vocals work out for ya, I'd like to hear this with those attached! Thumbs up
Unmistably a mike ritchie song and hopefully a joint effort with lodato too. Looking forward to hearing what comes of this mike. For me the bass level is OK but if your gonna mess with it, try boosting the lower end more and cutting the mid-range on the bass. It might giv the guitars more space but it's pretty good as it stands. Thumbzup dude.
Very cool signature sound on this. This one has got it going on! I really dig this one. I was hoping for a solo in this, but I see it is still in early production, so I will patiently wait to see how this bad boy plays out! I gotta still give you a thumb cause I'm grabbing a DL!
Thanks for the comments guys! Rich, you know I would! It's a bad mix and the bass is a little hot in it I agree! I wrote this thing last night and thought there might be something to this but could not find the round hole with a sqare peg on the lyrics. So I thought to see if someone else would have a go? Sure glad Rich heard something in this! Cool beans! -Mike
Lots of sweet guitar things going on in your latest Mike. Really like those funky rhythm stabs that feature prominently.. Bass is pretty hot too - finished rather suddenly - do those longer fade outs for a smoother finish :-) Thought i heard a bit of clipping mind. Great slice of bluesy funk - be interesting to hear what Rich does with this. Thumbs. James
Got all the elements on another Kick Ass Blues # WIP? Man this sounds just great to me.. It will be cool to hear what Rich comes up w/if you decide to work with him.. Sounding great! Eric
I'll do this if you'd like Mike.

I'm Just trying to bring some life back to real blues and Jazz guitar playing while at the same time trying to offer the best I have musically and creatively in hopes I too might leave a tiny and likely invisible piece of myself in these guitar strings of record! Hands filled with strings! Gloom be damned!
"Not really good at social networking. Not sure what it even means! One thing I do know is that their is some of the best blues guitar scattered throughout most of my songs. I sure hope I can sway someone anyone to just once be able to feel the way I feel as my fingers orchestrate the fretboard seemingly effortlessly. Doesn't happen all the time put when it does, these are the parts I really hope you get a chance to hear listening to these songs. As for myself, the passage of this kind of time are what make the sense of the simplistic purity that unlocks the soul and places it in strings in hands which churn tiny bits of time in place while the spores of true audible brilliance can dance!"
