You are a master, when it comes to expressing naked emotions with with simple musical means! /Peo
Lovely hypnotic quality Rich, really like the way the guitars are panned, a nice dance going on there. Thumbs, Gibbo
Not sure I've heard of the Melody Monk album....but this sure sounds as though it belongs in a collection under that title :) opening lines are subdued and measured...walking along with you...liked the sentiments here.."these four winds can't harm you when they're always to your back"...thinking... offered as a protection...really liked the chanting mantra-like vocals and the confidence of "I never doubt..." Bold assertion contrasts so well with the more tempered sentiments here. Fabulous! Thumbs!
lovely sound from your strings man, like an ovation with slight chorus and reverb, very clear and an addictive listen well done Rich!
Hi Rich, I love the guitar o-dubs on this, and main vocal centre stage, crystal clear recording of a beautiful melodic masterpiece, great lyrics, I love the sense that even in adversity, uncertainty of modern life, there is a real hope, a resolution, and an epiphany! Cheers, Andrew
The ending is perfect!Guitar plucked exactly from whence it was begun. Awesome! -Mike
You are so talented a musician! Never doubt yourself! -Mike
Think i heard this from UB, wonderful song. The geetar and its harmonicas ..:-)...is magical......
Sorry they said Harmonics not Harmonica lol I'm bad. hehehe I didnt miss a thing love it
So good buddy, I could sit here and listen all night, some one mentioned a harmonica, I don't hear it , did i miss an earlier version? Love it.
Love listening to anything you put on here and so pleased I didn´t miss this one Rich.
Yeah...think I missed this first time around Rich. Glad Im here now tho. Nice strat work..if its not acoustic?? More info? Like the sinister vibe at 1.30 and return to power at 2.30...very effective. I likes it! Cheers keith
Cool harmonics to start :) Nice panning too :) Lush guitar fx :) Love that jangly loose sound you get. Silly question but what strings do you use? The tone reminds me of Ernie ball power slinky. I always got a loose twangy sound from them on my Strat. Nice work dude. Nice harmonics on the ending too.Peace,Ricky
I started out in life loving music. Memories as far back as could be mainly have music involved somewhere in there. Sounds, beats, the way I felt when music I was attracted to broke in and made it worth waking up for. It influenced all I would do in life. Who I would like, love and where I hung out. Music surrounded everything for me. It was the muse for me to get along and hang on. Well, I'm no star. I don't mind... anymore. It's cool. I go on and will always be back with more music anyway. That's just the way it is.
this song really reflects on where we are, whats important about life. the arrangement, the guitar, vocals, all really hit the mark. this is one of the greats.
Your voice is so cool. You have these "cracks" in the words and it doesn't matter... in fact it makes you "real." I don't know if that makes sense to you, but to me – trust me, it's good! The music has a very lifting feeling to it. And again, your music hypnotizes me to listen to the whole song not once, but twice. THEN, I want to get a copy, and comment... it's a whole thing that I go through
