I am the road
"...I can feel the weight..." sums it all up for me...literal meets figurative...personification is a great poetic device..the rhythms of the guitar really drive the track and that rhythm is catchy. Voice carries gently through this one...subdued tones for the most part allow the edgy vocal parts to stand out. I am one with the road ;) Zen of the Road ;) Loved the "gasp" - the exhaled breath at the end..."I can feel the weight " ;) Thumbs Rich!
Thisis a very good production music...i like the reverb, the vocals are great and the guitar as allways . rated

Wonderful rhythmic almost percussive guitar style and sound going on here, unmistakable Lodato. Catchy tune and fantastic vocal delivery and lyrics all add up to a quite brilliant track Rich. Your voice just seems to get better and better every time I hear it. Rated, Craig.
Hi Rich, great track, love the repeating guitar riff and the way the vocal melody floats around it. Thumbs!.
There's one thing about Folk Music, in general is that the most profound and haunting subjects can be tackled with the most economical means, it just seems to hit harder (or softer) and it just has an all round listenability. I can remember when I was around fifteen, and discovering the Steeleye Span album "And Now We Are Six" it just blew my mind, and introduced me to a whole galaxy of great music, I'd never would have heard otherwise! This great song, reminds me of that album! Well done Rich! Cheers, Andrew
Wonderful song Rich. Simple is just fine by me. Keeps the listener focused. Or may be that's just part of your talent. Either way, I dig this un...
Cool song! I really like the style of guitar part. It sort of bounces and keeps a nice rythym. Choice of vocal delivery was right on as well. Good job! Thumbs
Great track, really liked the guitar on this one. The lyrics tell a great story. Really enjoyed this one Rich.
Great lyrics Rich! Your guitar playing makes me feel as if it is carrying me down this road that you speak of. But as I think about what your lyrics are saying, I am the road. Very cool tune! You are an ass-kicker, my friend.
I started out in life loving music. Memories as far back as could be mainly have music involved somewhere in there. Sounds, beats, the way I felt when music I was attracted to broke in and made it worth waking up for. It influenced all I would do in life. Who I would like, love and where I hung out. Music surrounded everything for me. It was the muse for me to get along and hang on. Well, I'm no star. I don't mind... anymore. It's cool. I go on and will always be back with more music anyway. That's just the way it is.
this song really reflects on where we are, whats important about life. the arrangement, the guitar, vocals, all really hit the mark. this is one of the greats.
Your voice is so cool. You have these "cracks" in the words and it doesn't matter... in fact it makes you "real." I don't know if that makes sense to you, but to me – trust me, it's good! The music has a very lifting feeling to it. And again, your music hypnotizes me to listen to the whole song not once, but twice. THEN, I want to get a copy, and comment... it's a whole thing that I go through
