the blossom is the shortest of the process and lingers the longest.

You know Rich, I'm not even in your universe (i'm a planet in a much smaller galaxy), but every once in a while, i feel a kindred spirit in our "process".....oh yeah, i forgot. love the song.....it's never anything else.
Can't tell you how many times I've gone into the studio to write something new and get drawn in to something previously recorded but unfinished song and feeling that I just got to finish this......love your passionate vocals in this along with the warm mix and the usual awesome production.
Nice textures here, swirling atmospherics, grabs the attention immediately. Sort of thing I'd like to hear on a massive cinema surround sound system... 'triffic!
Hey Rich... Got yourself a beauty of song here. Very warm mix you've created. No separation between your soul and your art. This song is living proof.. Very much enjoyed Rich
First thing that grabs me is this amazing panned percussion (?) effect, it works so well, I also love the subtle background bedrock of vocals, which support your interesting vocal here Rich. This is stunning songwriting and amazing playing, interesting theme that suggest the relativity in human relations, and certainly the yearning for some way out/in?
at least you got to the studio...whatever you concoct in there is bound to have 2 parts soul, and equal parts magic....a hint of Kick Ass too ;) the rhythmic keyboard...guitar strikes ( not going to call that by the more mundane "strum"...having seen you play..."striking the strings" is more accurate, I think...power in there...and in the subtleties of voice ..."weather... anchored by a bass thump that pulses like a heart beat...magic in the meditation here :)
"Weather 2015"...great title!!...I was kinda expecting it to follow on from the news...as ya do... ha. Nice laid-back sound...trance inducing almost. Brilliant vocal as you always do! keith
it's here. 35 down.
Production does make such a difference...ya have this sounding huge, Rich. Looked about to see if you had the original posted for comparison but couldn't find it...no worries, I'll give the 2015 version a few more listens :)
Your productions are always first class and this one is particularly warm & beautiful. Again, great soaring vocal work supported by just a couple of simple chords; but how those chords are treated! Great work, Rich; lovely song.
I loved music at first breath. Born in 1955 the year when Marilyn Monroe came to NYC for acting lessons. Less then 10 miles away from my wee infant self. Must'v had an effect on me. Maybe.. ya never know. So to go on.. Memories, far back. Music involved everything. Sounds, beats, how I felt. When music I was attracted to broke in, it was worth waking up for. It influenced my personality. Who I would like, love and where I would hang. Music surrounded everything in my reality. It was the muse to get me along and hang on. Always going on. That's just the way it is. To what, I don't know. I just hope someone out there is better off for something I did or didn't do, said, or sang and boy, singing saved my life more times then I can count. I always had that when I had absolutely nothing else I could count on, even myself.

at five I played my first notes. at 15 my second. in between we just don't talk about.
this song really reflects on where we are, whats important about life. the arrangement, the guitar, vocals, all really hit the mark. this is one of the greats.
Your voice is so cool. You have these "cracks" in the words and it doesn't matter... in fact it makes you "real." I don't know if that makes sense to you, but to me – trust me, it's good! The music has a very lifting feeling to it. And again, your music hypnotizes me to listen to the whole song not once, but twice. THEN, I want to get a copy, and comment... it's a whole thing that I go through
