From Chrome to Rust - KtA -GravitySlip Remix
What an imaginative arrangement of Mart's powerful composition! Wow, Pete, after hearing this, I guess I'll go back to the drawing board and rethink my own recent attempt at electronic music. I don't mind being green, but I do want to try to please the listener at least a bit with my effort. I will continue to listen and learn. I love how you impart a sense of desperate struggle against the inevitable. It is a rather chilling allegory beautifully handled here, Pete.
Great sound, massive cinematic style rumbling, very atmospheric. Easy rate, Gibbo
Wow i made No 1. That is no easy feat with so many talented artists on this site.
My take on From chrome to Rust was not easy.3 days listening to the track thinking where do i start lol, because KtA's track is epic.So my aproach was dont lose the vibe just add and enhance.
Speech synthesis and large choir a must.Cheers to all that commented and listened. And last but not least thanks Mart really enjoyed creating this version.:)
Nice take on KtA's original mate. Taking the track into new territory in your own unique style. Well done on the number 1 spot :)
Congratulations, Pete! Accolades both to you and the original composer! :)
Apprehension was my first thought Pete. I say that because I absolutely love the original and I did not believe it could be bettered!!!! How wrong I was............You steered it into a brand new direction and audience my friend!! Love it and thumbs up!!!
Hi Pete. Man this sweet!!! It was cool to read Marts comments on your take of his track. I like the mix of new and classical elements. It makes for a beautiful and interesting listen. I'll just sit back and take it all in. Really enjoyed!
This was so good, i'm now off to check out the original, which iv'e never heard before. Epic work man. Voted.
Well I love the Original, but this Pete is a Solid listen. Mix sounds lush and bass orientated when it counts, with those low rumbles consuming my ears vs the vocals and sweet pads and a perfect high end :) Alot of energy created with those pulsing synths also :) Such a well balanced mix overall :) Very cool listen to a track I have played many, many times in it's original form :) Ess X
Had to leave a few words Pete...
Big transformation mate, epic in places. 2 mins in with the piano arpeggios ,monster synth slides (awesome sound) and cymbal splashes is huge...wish I'd thought of that. Cool distorted beats cutting through. Liking the added choral work too...lush. Breakdown @ 4:30 with the piano and voices is a beaut. Cool riser into the finale. Twice the length of the original mix lol. Putting me to shame mofo (jus kiddin) Cheers fella...nice work ;)
Beautifil.vision of Marts masterpiece. Outstanding! !!!!!
Neat track! Very well produced and arranged, expect nothing less. Really cool panning parts as well. Great stuff. Thumbs. Roger
Really impressive! Enjoyed the way it pans L & R...Now it has some whopping big impact! Brilliant. keith
An impressive and dramatic composition, that really affects your mind. I particularily like the fact, that the song not is based solely on a synth-based soundscape, but has a clear melody line thru the whole song. - / Peo
Nice homage to Mart';s amazing creativity. You've interpreted his original in a worthy offering of your own considerable creative expression....yeah...dramatic or what....interesting variety of speech synthesis...big at 6m...sci-fi heaven in these electronic sounds swirling and whirling about...the choir sure helps too... nice little dialogue at the end...e-ne-r-ggg-yyyy (glitchy)... :) Thumbs!

It's took me a while, but I'm on my second review of my current batch, and this one is by GravitySlip, who works in my most familiar genre! The first thing I hear is a jazzy drumloop, and it's this drumloop that the biggest problem for me! I do like the sound of it, due to production being of the highest quality, but it's more that it sounds rather pedestrian! I personally feel that the drums shoul
