Spontaneous Sounds From A Piano
beautiful, calms my soul. thank you for the download. I can't get enough soft piano music in my life. many thanks for this song
Beautifull piano track., very calming...
Great atmosphere Dan - really enjoyed the piano playing here, as Sean says, it's not easy to get right. Sometimes what you don't play is just as important as the sound you make (I'm not sure that actually makes sense to me even :) ... Phil
Hi Dan, I've come back again, this is a wonderful track, very calming and a real joy, what more can I say!
Dan, this is very melodic and pleasing to my "old" ears....if you are old your music isn't because your ability to play from the heart and create sentiment is timeless my friend!! Thumbs from one old gut to another!
a lovely piece of music and so relaxing a beautiful piece i enjoyed this well done dan
Dan touches rich's heart yet again.
I’ll be presumptuous and guess that you appreciate the music of Eric Satie. Like Satie, you manage to say so much with so little. I do not condescend! Anyone experienced in music creation knows just how difficult this is to do. An over-spiced dish may more easily satisfy a diner than would one carefully crafted with few ingredients. Excellent work, Dan!
Hi Dan... I just got done listening to Black Wookie Rampage and now I've come here find peacefulness.. That's what makes this crazy site so special to me. This is beautiful Dan... Your music always sings to me... I thank you for that...
This is beautiful Dan, totally ageless and sadly fleeting like a treasured memory. Easy rate and a dl, thank you. Gibbo
Dan, Dan. Dan - I just love your music - big thumbs from me :)
Yes nicely done,Dan :) Nice flow and playing. :) Raw and untouched :) Peace,Ricky
ahhh, this goes down so easy....nicely done, sir
Hi Dan, Your music is so calming, meditative, and it's so good to chill from all the nonsense that's going on in the world right now, and this wonderful piano works really is hitting the spot!
ha-ha...we're not talking old, we're talking about age being a vintage, gaining value, ripening, with more of a gentle bouquet to the nostrils and a subtle presentation to the palate. Really appreciated this tinkling, Dan. Chillin' at the keys...presses the pause button of Life...perfect :) Thumbs!
Howdy! A Southern California artist living in Texas. Go figure. Make em up as I go along. Charter member of the pray and play theory of music...;-). I have been extremely fortunate to have some of the best artists on this site take some of my musical creations and take them to "a whole nother level" . The following artists have been kind enough to do this.
Essence, Saphfire, Dawn Sinclair, Carol Sue Kirkpatrick, Amy Caldwell, Vince Fedele (aka Riddle, A Brighter Day, Vin), AndyF (aka Andrew Foyston), Tony Miller, James (Andy) Oakwood, Joseph Rodriguez, Lodato (aka Rich Lodato), Peter Vines, AntonH, Boojolay (David Smith) and the irrepressable David Joel Carter
This just in! Dan Michaelson has nothing special going on in his life. It is pretty much Standard Operating Procedure with a few moments of ecstacy and terror thrown in so he doesn't get too bored with the whole thing!
This piece is as most of what I hear from Dan. Ambient by nature on the borderline of new age but really ambient as the passion involved is so thought provoking. The quality of sounds and just enough of structure to keep you guessing where it's going next at the same time, the flow doesn't keep you waiting but going along for the journey. That's magic. Dan has that aplenty and just about anyone wh
Essence is a very talented lady from MP3 Unsigned who I have reviewed once or twice, notably on Towers Are Gone (July 2008) a marked departure from her usual style, and her first (I think) collaboration with Dan Michaelson, an American keyboard player and songwriter. He supplied the music and she supplied the vocals and lyrics and - despite it being in a genre I don't normally care for - I found
What a beauty music...I can see the princess on his room...and walking over all of her palace...a beauty, and magical descriptive music...rated!
Dan Michaelson describes himself as "truly an amatuer". For reasons none other than he is not fully conversant with the mechanics of musical theorem. I suspect as a result of that some people feel the need to explain themselves and somehow belittle themselves when faced with the critics imaginary lack of theory beating stick. What i mean by this is that nobody should call themselves an amatuer, ci
