"How I'm goin' take you out to eat / I thought you ain't swollow!" -Joe Buddens
Oh my god! It's been a long time coming...and I still have a ways to go, but in the mean time, "...allow me to reintroduce myself..."!
I go by the name Anon-O-Mus. I've done some research and found a couple copy cats and I'm claiming the title. Think it's a game? You're probably wondering why I go by the name...well it's hard to earn a name in the music industry and when you are finally heard the first thing people know is the music and not you! I'm here to make a statement, both Chicago has undiscovered talent and that Chicago has undiscovered talent!
To go indepth, I've been involved in music since forever, but I got more involved around 2000. My layout was too simple, but I felt like I was making huge moves. A mic from Radio Shack, freshly downloaded Fruity Loops 3.5, a DJ mixer and a tape deck (well actually two tape decks, doing overdubs was a b*tch). I started a small group called the Young Gunnaz, which consisted of yours truly, Shai Clark (formerly Spook), & Jerzee (formerly Jersey). We turned something fun into a growing business. Since the first release of the official Young Gunnaz Mixtape, we've grown to do other projects such as "Kontrover-C: The Second Chapter" which was the sequel to the Young Gunnaz first Mixtape.
In 2003, I attened NIU (Northern Illinois University). As a freshman I didn't know what to expect, but I knew that my music wasn't going to stop now. Away from family and my fairly new music clique, I produced the first college compilation CD NIU ever experienced. It was entitled "Making The Campus: Season 1" (for a copy email me and arrangements can be made). I worked with many producers on campus (some have myspace pages) like INS [www.myspace.com/insparks]. I went to sell 100+ Cd's on campus. Now that may not seem like a lot but it was especially when you're just starting out and your a college student with no job! Money wasn't the only thing I gained. I gained experience and most of all popularity!
In 2005, I came across the opportunity to venture off and created my own establishment. I would breathe air into Krazy Kreationz. It's my production company. I guess hard work pays off, huh? But I've created over 500+ beats and counting. I've encountered many connects along the way as well, but my hard work doesn't stop here.
There's much more to know about this Anon-O-Mus cat, so sit back and observe...
Oh yeah, and I'm on some extra exposure...muzic collaborationz...or anything that helps promote my skillz and if you on that, hop aboard this train to fame, but you gotta have a one way ticket though, cuz I'm not coming back!
