We are APE and are a 4 piece outfit of misfits, we play and try to record our music in a place called St Austell, in Cornwall. (SW England) Our recording skills are not pro', but you'll get the idea. We record all of our tracks on a digital ten track recorder, The band consists of Jay Furze (Vocals), Dan Jones (Bass), Nick Clarke (Guitars), and Darren Page (Drums).We are currently rehearsing and writing new material for the second six track bootleg cd as we already have one up for sale now. A while ago we were approched to take part in a voting system to win the chance to go on tour in the U.S, The Company involved in setting this up is Avalon Global Promotions. They are calling it Avalon Bands of the World Tour 2007. Since the Avalon World Tour Has come about, we have been promoting ourselves all over Cornwall, handing out hundreds &hundreds of flyer's,Getting the story into local papers such as (The Cornish Guardian), (The St Austell Voice),Also in a free local rag (Here and now), Getting on local radio,(Pirate Fm) as a featured band Where the story of the World Tour was told by all of us, not to mention a whole weeks worth of air play for our music too! Also Air play of (Wide Open) and again the Tour Story on (Atlantic Fm).
