The Hunter(Soundtrack)
Great drama here. Loads of tension in the string parts. Nice vocals that add to the storytelling. Top work :) thumbs up from me!
woww !!!!
I see this is for a movie/tv soundtrack but it does just fine by itself. You can almost see the movie if you close your eyes while listening. No need for the television. I have no idea how you made this but it is impressive. Very cool! I will have to have a listen to the rest of your catalougue now that I have heard this! Good work -Mike
Always been a big fan of soundtrack pieces. I agree with Dave, this might be one of your best yet. The production is very FULL and the progression and instrumentation is really brilliant. I've tried to dabble ti orchestral stuff before and failed horribly so I have an inkling as to the huge amount of work that goes into creating something like this. Love the vocals, nice touch and not over used at all. Huge thumbz up.
Surely one of your best ever? MAGICal (wink)!!
One word - AWESOME!!! C ;)
I love My Westerns, Very Great Job , I b Following u.
Very professional work here. This actually gives me thoughts of a hunter in my mind while the music is playing. Then around 2:25, it sounds as though the hunter shoots its target, and the background voices sound as though they weep for the fallen game. A very emotionally filled adventure for the mind.
Hey Andy this is a powerfull track, loving everything about it! Glad i saw your post.
Hi Andy, Due to increased work load and other projects pending I am planning to take a long break but I would like to say a massive thanks for all your feedback and positive comments on all my tracks. I really appreciate it. My last upload for a while will be Twisted Love Song which will be uploaded in the next few weeks. I would also like to say that I have enjoyed your music as well especially this brilliant track and Final Asteroid Chase. I hope that you enjoy my last track for a while and if you want to check out more of my past work you can find it on last.fm All the best for now. PJ
Hi Andy, It is great to see the master of orchestra back in the chart with such a beautiful and haunting track and I have to admit that you have blown me away with this one. There is so much wowness about this track that I cannot praise you enough! Absolutely BRILLIANT my friend. Welcome back :) PJ
There is something haunting and mysterious about a track that begins with the strike of a bell! Nice horn section, strings, and choir...the timpani rounds out the bottom surging forward....nice transition to the pizzicato strings...trumpet staccato is lively bit ..oboe? (bassoon in there?) with harp?..nice combination. The choir/solo female vox is nicely placed...certainly the whole feel is of a big screen chase seen..perhaps a fantasy...medieval piece...armor, swords, hooves trampling out the ground....lots to imagine in this . Well done, and thoroughly enjoyed! Thumbs1
I love it, I actually used to have more movie soundtracks than rock albums as a kid, I love your tracks, wonderful wonderful Music!
A massive feeling from the outset Andy!! Loads of emotions flowing, including fear and seperation!! Yet a felling of warm loving during the beautiful harmonies!! This is as you have described, an excellent soundtrack and I love it!!! Salt of the Earth writing and composition! Baz
A welcomed journey this is. Such a complex arrangement but not so to the point of losing the listener. That takes courage and talent. Both of which you surely have in abundance.
Andy it was the Oscars last night but sadly I didnt hear Your name in the role call but with sonics like this I think its there loss. Do me a little favour and drop me a PM with the details of the DAW Yours using as some of the sounds here are simply delightful - Of course what You do with them is what counts but what a wonderful pallette to play with. Ant
Hello AndyF, what an exciting and dramatic piece of soundtrack music. Beautiful arrangement. Adore the effective use of vocals on this. Thank you for leaving me a lovely comment. Love Wednesday x
Andy. You know my views - this easily outclasses some of the stuff that gets quality airplay time and time again. I wish somone somewhere could do something about that. In the meantime - it's us who get to appreciate fine works such as this. Top class - from the first note to last. Everything in it brings the description to life.
Powerful music
Simply a brilliant track Sir Andrew. This flows through all it's variations flawlessly whilst keeping me (the most important person..:-)...) entertained at all times. Thanks for all your music!
Others have said it below but I'll say too... outstanding work Mr. F. I'm not one for hardly ever saying this is your best work I've heard but i will on this occasion cos i think it's true. Quite a complex piece which could easily attract the odd subtle bum note in orchestration as it skips around a few scales but i hear none!!! Thumzup
Hey Andy this piece has a majestic feel on the start and with the background vocals? I get a visual of a vast expanse and the lone rider galloping through a snow covered pass on a quest descending quickly to a clearing teeming with natural cover and wildlife filled with a feast of visual and aural stimuli. Wow! But not here, onward then! Rated!
Good day to you, Coach Andy! So good to be hearing your orchestrations once again... and my goodness~ everything sounds so wonderful & blends so perfectly! An outstanding, dramatic- work of art. An epic production to be proud of! =Bravo= :)
Hi Andy - Packed with drama and tension - love the choral work and the solo female vox too - the orchestration is first rate - creates images in the minds eye and would be perfect as part of a movie score. Excellent work. James
Got caught up in this one from the start and the exciting parts altered my breathing which proves your talent to create these fantastic soundtracks. We can appreciate every instrument that has gone into this from the delicate pizzicato to the sensational full orchestra, brass and voices. All we can say Andy is WOW..-..... thanks for the journey...........and thumbs of course!!!
Nice to Hear Something from you New Andy , you always create wonderful Compositions , full of Drama ,Action , that would Work in the Movie Worrld , Excellent Work ....A Thumbs my Friend D..
Huge, dramatic composition. You have quite a recognisable sound Andy,it may be the way you orchestrate. Luv the sforzando on the brass...and the vocals have me green with envy.
Hi! I have been interested in music since an early age and now enjoy making tracks with the various software available.Such as Edirol, EWQLSO and my new addition, Miroslav Philharmonik which has some strings to die for, all this sequenced in Fruity Loops. I now seem to concentrate on composing Classical Soundtrack material. I also enjoy rearranging tracks in collaboration with the awesome talent on show here. Please stop by anytime and enjoy! The Chambers album has been accepted in the Music Dept of the National Library of Israel and hopefully will be added to the holocaust museum there.
My first album STAY with ME can be bought here: http://www.cdbaby.com/andrewfoyston and the latest BEYOND POLARIS at www.cdbaby.com/andrewfoyston2.

I really enjoyed the melody. Loved the flute.... more than the bass :)
If I had my music software working, I could put my finger on it, but overall, just loved it!
Seeing as how I have been completely laid up for the past two doing doing nothing but honking into a handkerchief and spluttering like a man drowning (Ed: just a seasonal cold, tut tut poor reviewer), it seems appropriate that I should come riding back into the fray on orchestral wings. On second thought, after that sentence, maybe I should just go back to bed. Andrew Foyston (to give
Valour and Honour – Andy F- Essence Review Well, what can I say? It’s a huge track and no one can deny! Huge sounds, very dramatic indeed! I’ll try to skip the obvious comment of “this should be in a film” because it is obviously your intention Andy, to make your tunes fire the imagination and conjure up all kinds of themes and scenes to which your tracks could be impl
This an immensely dramtic and emotional piece of music. It's actually difficult to think where to start. The beginning is probably the best place. The haunting melody at the beginning truly sums up the emotion I can only imagine would be felt by prisoners being taken to the gas chambers. The bells add a nice touch, hinting to everyone that death is close. You can almost smell the mud and
Andy wondered if i was up for classical pieces when he submitted this for review! Good news is, yes I am! I have always loved orchestration, as does everyone if you really think about it. Whes used to it's full scope, 'classical' music fully captures and envokes all the feelings and meaning that modern music strives to recreate in different ways. Andy's 'The Last Galleon' does just that, the sus
T'was brass monkey weather time, three years ago, I reviewed a track called Di Da Mix (October 2003) and although liking its content (a little), disliking its production (even littler) and thoroughly berated the composer to get serious about his sound. AndyF (yep, you guessed it) obviously did because as many of you know, he's been in here plugging away ever since and btw, he did get s
Currently number one in MP3 Unsigned's Official chart, DHGC is a collaboration from two artists I have come to know very well, one for a very long time and one I've met within the last year. I first met AndyF a million years ago on another site when I reviewed his first track Di Da Mix (October 2003) and liked it. That hasn't always been the case, not because Andy isn't a good musician
Call me a sycophant if you like, I just don't care. I am bowled over by the undoubted talents of Andy F, and his latest track, Tears, is no exception. Building his orchestration around the superb vocals of Amy Caldwell, the loving care and attention given to this crisp and professional work is evident from the outset. It's always easy to eulogise over great songs and, naturally, personal taste c

ONE NOTE FIRST - “Although I am not totally into classical music, this song certainly has made me become interested in it. Fantastic score, fantastic instruments, fantastic feel to the song – HIGHLY RECOMMENDED” Review – Starting off smooth, the piano work done at the beginning is great, although could have been uplifted a bit to hear it a bit better, but with all the other instrument work
