Enjoyed the visit my friend
Ye I can turn the vocals up a few db, I actually knocked about 2 off last thing for balance on smaller speakers but if slightly lost np, maybe a tad wet is the prob, will have another listen. Cheers for feedback.
Very cool tune. Evil drinks, oh yeah! This has a most infectious beat and fantastic melody. Love this!
Nice work guys... I do think the vocal need to be louder...Can hardly make them out... Big fan of daves vocals so I want them upfront in my face :) Give them some more DBs :) Peace,Ricky
Wow. Fantastically clear mix and good reverb on the vox. Really drives along. Well done guys. Top tune as usual David.
Hey Dave and Gavin, love this version! Yup I know the Demon Rum! Classic DJC with this killer rhythm section! Gavin is great on this track! Hard not to like! Turn it up! Pass the thumbs around guys!
I know the demon rum and this is wild, great voice. the music makes me remember how it feels, lol. theres some great grungey guitar rockin happenin in there...yaaa!
YEAH! Awesome vocals and an excellent mix! The guitar and the lyrics are really entertaining on this track! This one has become an instant favorite!
Love the energy produced from this track, great guitar riffs and a powerful vocal. Enjoyed. Gibbo
Anything that the Valentine touches turns to gold!!! Lervely percs with some gorgeous filtering!! I do get a massive movie vibe from this, Reservoir Dogs perhaps???? Whatever the time, place or situation... this rocks!!!!!! As you know the rock scene isn't my scene but I have to love fine art, and this is fine art!!! Well done to you all Guys, a damn fine piece of music!!! Well worth the wait Dave??? I think so!!!! Rated Guys!!!!!! Baz
I remember the original version, one of your best tracks. Think I like this version even more. The spaced out production gives it a kind of Titty Twister vibe. Good collab. Rated, Craig.
That percussion is just wild. Have no idea how Gavin did this. It definitely gives the ears a workout and the subject matter/lyrics are way too good. You always make me smile David except when you don't.....;-).
wat a great track my friends....energic, rated
Geez, David, I had just logged off when I noticed this upload at the top...saw the "featuring..." in the title and just had to come by for a listen...funny how little things catch one's eyes ;) Is this a re-mix of a track? Thought I recalled the "watch the shirt" line...a great line that sticks...nice story -telling, as usual...find your humour and slightly off-coloured and twisted slant on life well worth the listen...lots of smiles...and an Erik J " LMAO!" OK, without the original to compare... I can only say that the mix and eq especially seems a lot better (stuff fits better, I think)...your vocal stands out a bit more here..always a good thing for me ;)...Drum part is lively and interesting...the opening caught my ear ;)......liked that sustained vocal descending slide on "Yellow...." funny !! "Watch the shirt!!" classic line LOL! Very sweet collab gentlemen. Nice to hear a tune rise to another level. Superb! Thumbs!
Working out of my home studio here in Tulsa, with help from family and friends both local and world-wide; check song descriptions for details on who's jumping in...
I'm David Joel Carter, and I'm happy to share some of my songs along with a couple of tunes by others I had a hand in. Check credits closely on each song, the line up changes often depending on who's available, and you might even bump into President Lincoln there.
Video above is courtesy of Mike Round, who besides doing an excellent job with the animations, plays a scorching lead guitar...Randy Perryman's playing drums and I've got the rest. Thanks for putting that together, Mike!
