You always impress me with your lyrics. Luv the descending lower notes on the guitar in the verses. This is another of your songs that I would've recognised as yours straight away...without being told. Class.
Lovely opening, very engaging. You sing with real feeling and a real rawness and edge to your voice. I liked the message of the lyrics too. Reminded me of The Blue Nile at times.

Loved the tone of the guitar and the rhythms of the picking....got me hooked...then the vocal tone...different in this one....got me more interested...then the words...now they were worth setting up with this lilt..."...in all this time have you ever once done something not so wise..." and on you go from there...what a delightful Sunday morning message....artistically rendered. I love these acoustic pieces from you Rich. That ole geetar with that vibration or whatever it is just really sweet. Some of my favorite songs from you are in this style. Just fills some empty place in my soul I guess.....sweetness.
I started out in life loving music. Memories as far back as could be mainly have music involved somewhere in there. Sounds, beats, the way I felt when music I was attracted to broke in and made it worth waking up for. It influenced all I would do in life. Who I would like, love and where I hung out. Music surrounded everything for me. It was the muse for me to get along and hang on. Well, I'm no star. I don't mind... anymore. It's cool. I go on and will always be back with more music anyway. That's just the way it is.
this song really reflects on where we are, whats important about life. the arrangement, the guitar, vocals, all really hit the mark. this is one of the greats.
Your voice is so cool. You have these "cracks" in the words and it doesn't matter... in fact it makes you "real." I don't know if that makes sense to you, but to me – trust me, it's good! The music has a very lifting feeling to it. And again, your music hypnotizes me to listen to the whole song not once, but twice.
