Late to the show but at least I saw, well...heard it. Great composition young lady. dig the title and while i love your singing, this is one of the first "instrumental" i remember hearing from you. Terrific!
Very cool experimental track Lizzie. Like all the sounds you use. Miss your vocals though. Love Wednesday x
Great use of objects around the house Elizabeth to create the percussion. The melody is interesting and gives the track a cooo dark flow.Nice Lfo and automation.Hope it got good marks at Uni.x
Cool idea with the percussion sounds...I find it really works too here. Many moons ago I had a go at that sorta thing...didnt sound anywhere as good as this tho :-( Now dont go putting ideas in Terrys head! lol.
I like recording all kinds of sounds for tunes too. That approach usually yields very interesting sounds, and leads in a direction the song wants to go. Ricochet is no exception. An quirky menagerie of acoustic delights. Hope school is going well, and that this module is particularly rewarding!
Enjoyed this composition, especially as you say you created all the drum hits from objects around the house. Also I like the Bass riff.
You kept my attention all the way through this really original and very musical piece. 2nd listen now. This has such impact.
Has a cool contemporary vibe once it gets going. Nice break at 1:40. Imaginative use of home made sounds...and cool to hear you're using NI Massive too.
Fantastic use of sound Lizzie, love the ideas you've created here. Quite a dark edge to this I thought, not malevolent but maybe despair or frustration, very atmospheric anyway. Easy vote, Gibbo
