T. only you could come up with your own word and make me look for it all over the place for it's definition and never to find. sly dog. But I dropped my legs on the floor and found the meaning, geeez, y make stuff so tough?$%^##@!@*&!!
great title, only to be outdone by the performance on this tune! Passionate musings about memories...sunny side of then...apropos. Enjoyed, this morning, too... :)
Free flowing, free style, heart open for all the world to see. Something I've come to expect but no less appreciate from the songs of Rich Lodato. Another beaut my friend.
Hi rich, so sorry I got to this amazing track SO late! I am having a problem with slowed internet, due to a Mavericks upgrade!
Totally captivating, very special music, this truly is a SALVE for troubled times, makes me fee a whole lot better!
Nice and laid back dude.. thumps up free time today... Love it all its from the heart.. One can not lie..
This is a beautiful raw emotional piece. Sounds like it was recorded in a single take? If I can make any sort of comparison (which I probably shouldn't ;-) it reminds me a bit of Alice in Chains acoustic tracks (Jar of Flies/Sap) but with that distinctive Lodato vocal twist. Quality.
My kind of track and one that deserves more attention and votes
Lovely music Rich...right there with you soaring high with those wonderful acoustic riffs and vocal somewhat restrained from what I am used to but fitting for this lyric and song. Outstanding! Thumbs!
It's good to be alive when living this song I suspect....
We all draw on memories and trade them for feelings in songs...a truly worthy exchange I in believe too. Perhaps you touch these stones...and I dig em up and chuck em through a window :-) This song is to be absorbed though the senses...oh yeah..I ramble too...it just means simply, I like it.. keith
Love the performance , I love your outlook Rich.
being able to touch the stones without disturbing anything...that's quite a feat...time and a lot of growth allow for that and that stance leads to a song such as this...able to dwell with it all...all the friendships...come...and gone...feeling it all...all the changes...from the sunny side :) Glad you're back in the studio...live! Much respect for the performance ! Thumbs Rich!
I loved music at first breath. Born in 1955 the year when Marilyn Monroe came to NYC for acting lessons. Less then 10 miles away from my wee infant self. Must'v had an effect on me. Maybe.. ya never know. So to go on.. Memories, far back. Music involved everything. Sounds, beats, how I felt. When music I was attracted to, broke in, it was worth waking up for. It influenced my personality. Who I would like, love and where I would hang. Music surrounded everything in my reality. It was the muse to get me along and hang on. Always going on. That's just the way it is. To what, I don't know. I just hope someone out there is better off for something I did or didn't do, said, or sang and boy, singing saved my life more times then I can count. I always had that when I had absolutely nothing else I could count on, even myself.

at five I played my first notes. at 15 my second. in between we just don't talk about.
this song really reflects on where we are, whats important about life. the arrangement, the guitar, vocals, all really hit the mark. this is one of the greats.
Your voice is so cool. You have these "cracks" in the words and it doesn't matter... in fact it makes you "real." I don't know if that makes sense to you, but to me – trust me, it's good! The music has a very lifting feeling to it. And again, your music hypnotizes me to listen to the whole song not once, but twice. THEN, I want to get a copy, and comment... it's a whole thing that I go through
