A very gentle mood established early led to some delicate lower pitch vocals from James. A dreamy vocal treatment worked so well with Christy's track. Lyrics are a nice piece of imagery too. Christy, sweet work on the track...lots of elements to mix and work with but you kept it all moving in a dreamy/wash of sound under James' vocals. Great collab! Thumbs!

Just got up and trying to figure out the timing on this one. I'm sure it's intentionally off-beat (and ok) but me brain is strugglin dudes. Someone put me outta me misery lol. OK it settles down to 3/4 (in most places). Christy you wrote it please help me!!! Back to the vibe - tis good - nice creation with the swirlin sounds and the ethereal vocals - nice one for that James - the chorus on yer vox works really well in this piece. This is so odd and yet so familiar that it makes it a wonderful treat for mine ears! The backing instruments weave themselves nicely in contrastic harmony with what I feel is one of your best vocal performances and I've never heard a bad vocal out of you. Hi James, I really enjoyed this song, it has a yearning, moody, deep quality. The recording has interesting touches, in particular the interesting seaside sounds, that add a lot to this melancholy, reflective mood. I am attracted to this sound a lot, and this is a fine effort. I'm with Ricky, would love to hear the vocals up in the mix a bit more. Don't know about the bass, it's a real sweet song and well performed. That Christy girl is quite an all round talent and James, your abilities and talents are always first rate in whatever you do. Really dig the backing vocals too, they work very nicely in this song...
